So as Shepherd enters the Prison ship to pick up. the Warden asks him to relinquish his weapons. So they kinda have a tense moment... I was wondering the WHOLE time, why doesn't Shepherd just say that he is a FRIGGING SPECTRE??? And that Spectres are allowed to carry weapons anywhere??????

Bioware HOTFIX this please.

Youll see why the Warden was so insistent. It makes perfect sense.

Because you're in the Terminus systems where Council authority isn't recognized.

THats not the issue. My point is that instead of Shepherd saying "NO NO I MUST HAVE MY WEAPONS." All he needed to say was "Um, I'm a frigging Spectre. Do you work for the government? Then, GTFO, I can carry weapons."

Well just like the other dude said, its the Warden's ship and he can do whatever he wants to do. Shepard could be the entire council, the Warden would still have the right.

Are you sure? It's not very clear which parts are Terminus and which parts are Council space. And what the Warden said sounded like he used to worked for the Turian government, then went solo or something, but still a part of Council Space. And why would they have prisoners in the Terminus system, do they even have laws there?

Yes I'm sure, almost the whole game takes place in the Terminus. Go back to the Citadel and talk to the human Councilor. You can get your Spectre status reinstated or you can reject it, either way because it's only a formal gesture with no real weight behind it. They'll talk about how it really doesn't matter since you're no longer active in Citadel space.

Purgatory is operated by the Blue Suns, a merc group. Governments pay them to take the worst criminals, or else face having them released on their worlds at undisclosed times...it's an extortion racket, basically. They operate it in Terminus space because there are no laws there, and no Citadel race will send a fleet there for fear of provoking the Terminus systems into a temporary alliance and triggering a war.

The warden used to be in the military (compulsory for all turians) and possibly law enforcement, but went crooked.
