Hi. First post in this subforum, so sorry for being a little too obvious about being a n00b. Anyway, I'm soon going to finish DAO, and I've decided to do Awakening first, then Witch Hunt, then maybe something else (the dwarven DLC you do with your main character? I've got all of them, just don't remember the name).

 

So, I remember someone claiming somewhere that your Awakening save doesn't contain your history from DAO, which has made me somewhat afraid/confused. Is that real info and do I need to be cautious with the saves or not really?

 

In any case, supposing I do Awakening first, do I want to important the Awakening save into Witch Hunt? And which save do impotant into Dragon Age II?

If you're importing your character to Awakening, it contains your DAO choices. Then you can import that Awakening save to The Golems of Amgarrak or Witch Hunt. One thing though, if you want to play both DLCs you need to play The Golems of Amgarrak before Witch Hunt, because the latter is last (ending) DLC. That is if you want to play them on one character. At the end of Witch Hunt game creates save for you to import into DA2.

Just a quick note, if your Warden doesn't survive DAO and you're on PC, there's a special work around to make sure you can still import your game into Awakenings.  As it is your Warden mysteriously comes back to life.  

 

I'll go through it if you need the info.

 

I have a question maybe someone else could answer....would it be better to do Awakenings and take that save into DA2, then do Witch Hunt independently?  I heard there was an issue with the Witch Hunt save, and seeing how the events don't impact DA2 I thought that may be a work around.
