When I was in the circle tower I saw a toppled statue of andraste. When I interacted with it the revenant started attacking me. I tried 3 times (every time trying a new strategy) but I could never beat him. Can some body tell me a strategy to use. By the way I have Leliana, Alistair and Wynne in my party.

Thanks

What class is your player character?  Also, on what level are you playing?  Normal?  Hard?  Nightmare?

Assuming your PC is not a mage, Wynne may be too underpowered for this fight, especially early in the game.  Her initial setup is geared toward healing.  You may want to skip this fight for now and come back later with a more potent team.  This fight isn't necessary to complete "Broken Circle."  And it may use up resources like grenades, lyrium potions, health potions, etc. that you will need for the final boss fight.

When you do decide to do this fight - or any Revenant for that matter - you should have a mage with the power to freeze him or paralyze him so that your tank can slice into him.  I prefer using two mages - one a healer and another more lethally armed.  Also, one archer rogue to pick away at him from a distance.  One of the nice things about Origins is that you can make your warrior do dual duty as an archer.  Aside from when your tank goes after a frozen Revenant, you want your team to keep its distance as much as possible for obvious reasons.  You should always have plenty of health potions and grenades on hand as well.

By all means, report back whatever you decide to do.  Always useful info for players new to the game.

I'll use Bear Form with staff as mage. Staff gets you autohit which takes away revenant advantage of defense. Normal damage might not be a lot, but the criticals with Slam will keep the revenant focused on you, allowing the other party members to do their damage on the revenant and eventually the revenant goes down.

I defeated it on solo(like every other enemy)with the broken mechanics of Dragon Age Origins.

Those who have a high percentage of dodge are immune to attacks (Warrior warden with 100% dodge which is just undefeatable)

How do you achieve 100% dodge for a warrior?  I thought that was more of a rogue ability.  I saw this from the wikia:

It is quite easy to reach a high level of dodge for rogues in Dragon Age: Origins through gear and talents:

Aside from the abilities, warrior can use the gear and accessories though that comes to only 50% dodge.

I just use a regular tank and heal strategy.  Sometimes he is immune to the staff than Wynne uses but I can't handle changing her staff so  just leave it.

Mages can get to 100%  dodge with  either arcane warrior talents or Swarm Form which adds 40% dodge.

I have a feeling it's Dexterity which I am going to try on my rogue.

Yeah, it is basically pumping dex that can increase the chance for an attack to miss you.  Of course the problem is a pure dex warrior won't do a lot of damage unless he is DW dagger, and you probably want to pump enough strength for higher tier armor.

As for the topic at hand, generally I do Circle first and with squadmates I usually just try to bait the Revenant with a melee character and then have him chase while ranged characters provide DPS.  As above, Revenants can be frozen or paralyzed, which grants a reprieve from their damage.  You will probably need to kite him a bit though.
