Is it a simple job to edit the MDB files for Rens hair?
This has been one of my favorite hair mods since the early days of Oblivion, but in NWN2 the front clips badly. Clipping into the chest is OK, but when it reappears below the chest it looks bad.
I was hoping some kind hearted modder might be able to cut 6 inches off the front.

Why cut the lower part?

I just moved the hair forward (but I don't know if this can be done with Blender or Gmax without losing the rigging). Here's the "fixed" version (model #71 is the one with shorter hair, but maybe not short enough?).

The three other hair models are some I made for important NPC in the campaign I'm working on.

I should probably release the pack, along with the new heads and bodies...

We could always use more hair models!  What are the body differences?

Well it looks real good while you are looking straight ahead.
Spoiler

Would cutting the front shorter be a bigger job than moving the pieces around?

Yep, we can never have too many options.

Nope.

Same link as in the previous post to get the shorter hair.

If that's still too long, there's the option to modify the UV mapping and have the end of the hair become invisible thanks to the texture file.

72 is the shorter one, and the length is good it stops it appearing through the bottom of the breast, but it gets the same artifacts as 71, especially when she is moving, the hair falls apart & then settles when she stops.
These are of 72, the shorter one.

See how the side piece is a couple of inches away from the head.

I'm not sure I understand, but since the head is the only bone having an influence on the front part of the hair, the hair will only follow the movements of the head and not rest on the torso/breasts. Let me see if adding the torso and collar bones to the mesh attenuates the rigidity of this part.
