As long as they are removable. Prefer to fight topless, showing abs and torso muscles.

No capes bear chested in space, invisible energy armor/clothes.

And how many stellar products have you shipped? What gives you the right to look down on people who have built entire games and say they aren't giving their all just because they neglected a handful of features people on the internet think should have been included?

Grow up.

Ah,  it's been a while since I've seen this argumentative fallacy!

So,if the steak is overcooked and the spinach souffle is mushy and not textured at all, I'm not allowed to criticize the meal because I am not a professional chef myself?

Nope, you can criticise the product as much as you like--my entire degree programme is based around criticising the works of people far more talented and skilled than I'll ever be.

What you can't do - at least, not without sounding like a dick - is criticise the work ethic of the people who produced the product. Calling a game dev lazy is not the same thing as saying that their game is bad.

No cloaks while in combat or exploring.

May be a fashion statement during a diplomatic mission.

I hope they avoid fantasy elements like plague. I want a pure sci-fi setting please.

what do you mean by that? Do you mean disease?

I personally rather have them focus on improving other areas of the character models before adding more to it.  With all the work that would be involved to making the the cloak look like a cloak instead of a piece of plywood I rather have improvement on the animation for the character models.  If they have improved the character animations with Andromeda I think having it in future games would be something I would be more open too.

How would it not fit, if we scavenge and are outcasts with miserable armor and nothing to repair it? Nobody knows yet, how far they go, with the freedom and exploration. I'd hate only having space suits in my closet.

A loose cloak of any material isn't going to repair an air tight space suit.

If we can get a skin tight Miranda type costume and cloaks, I am making a biotic character and using Halle Berry as the character rep.

That's not skin tight. That is fairly loose. Not very loose.

To be honest I prefer loose as opposed to skin tight. Skin tight doesn't look very comfortable.

That outfit that Miranda wears looks very impractical.

I have never though while playing Mass Effect, "you know what my Shepard needs, a stylish cloak to wear." http://masseffect.wi.../Tactical_Cloak If we are talking about cloaks for combat. they already have had those as I am sure you all know.

Teddy bears are for little children.

No $#!7. How is that relevant?

Well, if we start worrying about whether people are sounding like dicks, we'll never get anywhere.

I think the real problem is that calling devs "lazy" is meaningless nonsense. Nobody's actually stupid enough to think that the Bio staff are sitting around playing Call of Duty instead of working; even if they wanted to, EA wouldn't let them.

Nei. Destiny is Destiny, Star Wars is Star Wars, ME is ME, and ME has always tried to go with a somewhat realistic style. Well... Except for when it hasn't. But there shouldn't be an increase in the number of 'hasn't' instances, so no to capes.

This.

Else, see the Ewok theme.

I could see Asari, or conceivably other aliens, wearing cloaks. Wouldn't really fit with humans though.

Maybe you could sci-fi them up and give them a practical purpose. Like, if it could stiffen up and turn into a pair of wings to go with your rocket boots or something.

I suggested earlier that it could serve as a kind of camouflage or help with cloaking by hiding heat. This could have fun playstyles and have fun enemies who use those playstyles.

Now you're splitting hairs.   I can criticize the game but not the company is basically what you're saying.  Holy crap you need to shave.  Immediately.  Because you are definitely suffering from split ends.

No, just too busy having a circle jerk over their own games on Twitter.  But I see your point regardless.

Dude, if you can't see the difference between criticising people and the stuff people make, as it applies to the argument you were trying to make, I'm not gonna argue over it. I just wanted to point out that the 'argumentative fallacy' you were so keen to cite didn't apply in this circumstance.
