Hey all

I just picked the digital delux version of ME3 to join my friend in playing ME3.

She has the Collectors edition (which isn't available online)

 

So, it seems that I cannot join my friend. How the heck can I fix this so I can play with my friend?

Do you have both all the DLC installed ?

Are you in the UK?

If so, it's possibly something to do with the version number.

We all have the same DLC (that was the first batch of errors it gave us) - so we're pretty sure it's not that.

Yeah I'm in the UK, is this a known issue for us Brits then (My friends are in Europe)?

One of you will have version 1.06, while 1.05 is more prevalent. Or something like that. It should be easily fixable, anyway. I can't believe I'm offering assistance in a tech thread!

Hmm, so how can I downgrade from 1.06 to 1.05?

A friend of mine said he had even joined a vanilla game (earliest version) lobby a few days ago.

 

Seems a bunch of people still don't get the DLC issues straight.

Your friend couldn't join if the host didn't have any dlc installed. Most likely it's someone who like me has the original maps modded back in. I use some vanilla mod from mod maker that doesn't change anything except unlock original maps and chakram launcher, I usually forget except for once in a blue moon I host and one of the original maps comes up.

I'm kinda curious about this, cause my sister lives in the UK and we plan on playing together soon. I hope we won't get any trouble once we go for it.

It's possible this is a PC problem only.

Ahhh okay, I sure hope so. Not that I hope pc gamers have trouble either.

It is PC only. It costs $$ for consoles which I am sure they wouldn't have paid or someone was in a coma at the wheel.
