I still haven't unlocked it. I have freaking Hurricane X and Crusader X, but still no Punisher. Should I lament that fact?

 AP ammo and a Stabilizer makes it **** on the Hurricane. A real boss killer of a gun.

Scorpion is very fun to use on the Volus Vanguard. First you hurl seven small balls from Scorpion, then four large balls (Biotic Orbs), and then the huge ball (Biotic Charge).

Scorpion is also fun (and very effective) to use with Human Engineer, every Salarian or whichever kit you want to prime ammo with. Try it with CC/carnage spamming human soldier too. I like it better than acolyte with HS.

And for dealing on-host phantoms.

I modded it to shoot AP every 6 vs every 8 and its actually a UR now. On par with the hurricane.

Wha...? I've been cheated all the time? I thought it was every 4th shot?! It's hard to count them under the influence of marksman.

Not a fan. BPP is my second least favorite UR after the Spitfire.

 

It's alright on the Turian Soldier but then every gun in this game is good on the Tsol.

It's all about straightening out its only weakness; huge recoil. Once you do that it's a beast. Vorcha Hunter's usually my main kit to wield it with outside of TSol.

Spread is also not so good, but that is to be expected from SMG/ARs in this game. You are right though, used properly it is just fine. I cannot give a fair comparison to CSMG or Hurricane though due to level disparity.

CSMG is very un SMG-like in its accuracy. Though being an SMG you'd think people would use them in close range... like an smg. Not every gun is a Vector or MP-5.

You know what else the BPP is better than? The Harrier. BPP VIII is MUCH better than a Harrier VI. Just need to know how to use it.

If it really were that good more people would use it, but it's one of the least used guns in the game just because so many other guns are much better, most players only use the most OP guns as in all other games.

The whole "you just need to know how to use it" don't make that much sense either, playing this game isn't exactly rocket science.

Ceteris paribus, put one Hurricane/Tsol next to a BPP/Tsol and the Hurricane/Tsol will outperform the BPP/Tsol in 100% of the tests.

If BPP is mediocre at best by that logic, claymore is just 'alright'. High lord worthy? Pfff!

BPP being a bad gun = all future posts on gun tiers being invalidated to me. Just because it isnt a broken piece of TRASH doesnt mean its bad. Cases in point; the non UR shotguns not including Claymore and the Mantis.

While the Hurricane does more dps, I prefer the Punisher for its extreme damage vs armor. I couldn't give a flying **** weapon use by the community and a lack of L2P. BPP is a monster. Get good.

So, to simulate the BPP experience, I should equip Tempest and Carnifex and constantly switch between them? Now that's going to be fun.
