im new to this game and i just crafted elementalist is it good for starter?
And plz tell me what abilities should i put and when will i ready to play threatening or perilous.

Not a big fan of the Elementalist myself, but he's all about Flashpoint and setting up choke points with Firestorm, Wall of Fire, Fire Mine, etc. Build him with some crit chance and free spells will be a regular thing. Just be sure to save the free casts for spells with a long cooldown, and take Death Siphon for survivability, and Barrier if needed.
There are different ways to play, so if you find yourself not liking a particular spell or bored with a reserved playstyle, try out some other spells after promoting. And, typically, you're ready to move up a difficulty when the one you're in feels too easy.
I used the elementalist quite a bit when I started, and enjoyed it. Really depends on your personal preference.
Once you get your critical chance up (by promoting cunning mostly) the flashpoint will be really good.
As Minuos mentioned, Death Siphon and Barrier will make you be able to survive more than some other classes, which is great. You can even survive with just upgrading the first two skills ( immolate and winter's grasp ) and bee-lining it to Death Siphon and Barrier to get your survivability up quick.
Elementalist? Just keep spam fire storm every 10 seconds and you will be fine.
Wall of fire is good for CC too.
Bring immolate / fire mine / energy barrage / winter's grasp for some instant damage.
And then bring barrier if you struggle to survive. Most people won't need barrier for threatening / perilous.
The wall of fire blinds me and then the fire mines troll me to jump over them before remembering that I am not even in a Venatori match....

Crash Storm and Wall of Crash were better in the early days of DAIMP when you wanted to play a short game for no xp. He's just not that interesting now that he doesn't he doesn't have that extra risk to crash the match with his crash magic.
If you have the Yavanalis staff it works great with Firestorm to give you tons of guard and I think one of the passive helps reduce the cooldown.
If you wanna play a super short game with no XP bring in 4 Virtuosos and run around Power Chording in a tight group. um... fire storm has a cooldown time of 60 seconds are there any abilities to reduce that?

No kidding. We did that once on NM and half way thru the lag was so bad it was like 1 fps or worst.
I knew my signature will be useful someday
Bring barrier, find melee that likes to run into big groups and won't die. Enjoy support XP.
