Don't think Briala is a companion or advisor
She advises the Inquisitor if she gets Briala back to together with Celene or co-leads with Celene's brother. She comes to fight in the arbour wilds as well. So that counts and she is on my dream team. ![]()

What about my Warden, Hawke, and the Inquisitor at once? ![]()
Really though, it's hard. I'd love to have Alistair and Cullen in a party, but then I'd have to decide who the third person would be... Cassandra? Cole? Dorian? It's so hard!

Tough choice!
DAO/A: Alistair, Shale and Morrigan/Wynne (depending on how much healing or death is required per mission)
DA2: Fenris, Isabela, Bethany (circle mage)
DAI: Cassandra, Sera, Vivienne (If Viv and Sera try to murder each other, I'll replace Viv with Dorian)
And they're led by either my HoF rogue Dalish elf Jade orrrrr maybe my Mage Qunquisitor Nishmah
Morrigan, Alistair, Isabela, Varric, Sera, Blackwall and Hawke.
Sten, The Iron Bull and Ketojan ?
Kidding.
Probably Sten, Isabella and Dorian. Imagine the banter possibilities !
Leader would be DAI Mage Inquistor in all cases.
DAO: Alistair, Wynn, Zevran
DA2: Isabella, Fenris, Sebastian
DAI: Cullen, Varric, Cole
Nothing to do with personalities, all based on skills they bring to the party.
Ok...4 members like in the games? (3 companions and the player character)
Well, for my warrior I'd proably take Cassandra (she knows how to fight magic-users, she's not addicted to any lyrium etc. and she's tougher than most others (her seeker-training assures that - they are after all the elite!)) or Shale
(who doesn't want a golem?)
For my rogue I'd want either Leliana (she's so much more than a simple assassin after all and her charm and networking skills are very very helpful (not to mention that she can entertain people)) or Varric (he also is a networker with a net of contacts all over the place after all - in addition to be good at fighting!)
For my mage I'd probably go with Morrigan (she knows magics my character (also a mage!) doesn't know, from blood-magic to shape-shifting and she's just cool) or if I can't get her, then I'd probably go with Merril ![]()
So the list would be:
1. Cassandry or Shale
2. Leliana or Varric (leaning towards Leliana of course!)
3. Morrigan or Merril
4. The PC (who is a mage!)
There you have it ![]()
Note: I only considered companion characters from the games - if I'd take others as well, then my mage would probably be FIONA
(I just love that character!)...otherwise nothing would probably change!
I would chose either sarcastic Hawke rogue or sarcastic Inqui rogue
and my dreamteams would be:
DAO Zevran, Wynne, Sten
DA2 Anders, Varric, Aveline
DAI Blackwall, Dorian, Vivienne
And my dreamteam for all three games would probably be Varric, Dorian and Aveline (who would probably go mad from the banter of the other two)
Leading: My Elven Rogue Inquisitor
DAO: Nathaniel, Alistair, Morrigan
DA2: Isabela, Fenris, Aveline
DAI: Solas, Dorian, Cassandra
Bonus: Cole
I would also love to have Sera, but one bonus is enough... I guess ![]()
I would love to have this team. My dream team for all three games would probably be Solas, Alistair, and Fenris. I would also love to have Cassandra, Aveline, and Isabela in the same party.
Often my team choices was guided by many elements including, classes and skills and party design for combats, more important characters, relationship curiosity, personality curiosity, and links and sympathy/empathy with the character.
DAO/Awakening: Morrigan, Oghren respec in 2H Warrior, Sigrun, MC 2H Warrior or Mage
DA2: Merrill, Aveline, Varric, MC 2W Rogue / or / Merrill, Isabella, Aveline, MC Mage
DAI: Too many companions I didn't played much yet. Also it's hard consider advisors in the pool. In that context : Blackwall, Varric, Cassandra, MC a Mage
For all 3 games: Morrigan, Oghren, Merrill.
For DAI it's unfair, I need play much more with Vivienne, Sera, Iron Bull, and a bit more consistently with Solas and Cole. Moreover for considering advisors, I wonder what class could be Josephine, Scribe? I wonder if it would be efficient for combats, I suppose a pencil in the eye can hurt. :-P
1.
Wilhelm Hawke mage (Blood/Fire)
Karl Trevelyan mage (Necro/Fire)
Aedan Cousland warrior (dual wield/shield-sword, Templar/Reaver) + Zevran (because they need a rogue + Aedan can be together with Zevran, without royal duties)
2. later (when Felondan will grow)
Wilhelm Hawke mage (Blood/Fire) + Fenris (because they need a warrior + for Hawke)
Karl Trevelyan mage (Necro/Fire)
Felondan Mahariel rogue (ranger)
...just for fun (and great firepower) ![]()
Leader=Inquisitor+anchorgroupArchdemon+old god soulCorypheus+OrbSolas+Flemeth powers-Now i feel invincible
I think you are with this party but i don't think Lezio will allow this.
