I'll check tonight but I think I just use the reeger to pwn them.

Harrier works great too, usually what I slap on him. Contemplating the Crusader on him now too.

Seen a  alot of gold digging pugs over this weekend...none equip anything..not even the gear slot.......

You expect more of pugs? On a side note I had some nice pugging Friday night, they were good and used equipment!

How about a QMI with an Inc ammo Krysae?

That weapon seems to fit so nicely with a QME & SE...I thought it would feel even better on the QMI.  But I had a fairly 'meh' go of it.

i did give this a go and it worked pretty well. Arc grenades give you something to do in between Krysae shots, but you can go through grenades really fast, and it shows on non grenade box maps. Still pretty good AOE damage from range, obviously better against Geth and Cerberus.

Pushing 600 hrs and no Talon, Hurricane is still at I. Harrier is my highest UR though, don't use it a whole lot atm though.

I am. I will tend to push certain requests forward, such as characters/weapons I haven't already used on my channel, which is why QMI Krysae was just done. I do have Drell Adept, and a few Crusader vids on the channel. Personally I switch between Harrier and Venom with the Drell Adept, after I got over my Acolyte/Hurricane honeymoon. Any reason for the Crusader on him, other than reave is pretty good at lining up shots with the Crusader?

I'll have to check it out then and watch more of the vids, think I saw a Shaman(?) one. I'm not going to lie I don't have as much time to play as I'd like and I'm on a bit a Crusader kick (I switch between Claymore and Harrier on him) and I think it would work really well with warp rounds.

Yeah I do have a boatload of vids dating back a couple years. I think I have all Adepts, all soldiers but the vorcha, and all but 3 engineers (demolisher, vorcha, and talon) and 2 sentinels (batarian and warlord). I noticed I don't have a lot of infiltrator and vanguard gameplay, so I'm trying to add some of those. My next planned video is the Salarian Infiltrator with Kishock.

Sounds like you guys could use some platinum credits. And, a lesson in RNG seduction ;)

Also, Drell Adept/Valiant ftw

I'll admit I didn't really know what I was doing when I first dove into MP.  I've had the game since it came out and played it off and on mostly just SP and then I discovered the hidden gem that MP really was (still haven't beat the campaign ha).  I've more recently got back into ME3 MP more seriously.  I've got my skills up to where I'm more confident I can hold my own on gold so the credits are flowing in much faster.  I've read the tips, watched videos and think I'm on the right path now.  I definitely wasted a bunch of credits in the beginning but now I'm on my way to maxing my rare weapons finally then onto UR I suppose.  Platinum skurrs me.

Heh, I sacrifice a goat to RNJesus before every trip to the store. The creds are nice and I've been playing plenty of plat lately, but mostly Reapers/Giant bc that seems to be all I can find a match when I search U/U/P.

Well if you're on console and want some help, I'd be happy to rid you of your platinum fear.

Yeah the player base is a lot of new guys hosting plat lobbies that shouldn't be. Maxing fast is literally either all platinum or missile speedrunning which as Psic0 said, can get boring, especially Giant/Reaper and Box of Shame.

And they all play juggs that I need to sit and babysit because they have no equipment on either. I did get in a good group the other night in a random search, which was a good change, Cerb/Glacier, Geth/Goddess and something/Rea[ers all sub 25 min with minimal nukes used. I have yet to see the speed running groups, but did get missile glitchers a few times.

Oh, the Platinum skurr is real. The only way to get rid of it is exactly as Clyde suggested - find solid people who you can trust, and who make the experience fun, exciting but also safe, instead of uncertain, shockhorror and worrying-if-I-have-to-carry-with-my-noob-ass-and-lowlevel-weapons.

But playing platinum with the guys has put me onto a whoooole new level of seriously hating the phantoms' guts. Never minded them that much earlier! However, it's also taught a lot about strategy and especially situational awareness (my greatest bane). I'm nowhere near ready or good yet, but slowly learning each time.

This, other than DPS, is probably the most important thing in plat. I found out attempting my solos that you get punished for the smallest mistakes and you really need to pay attention to your surroundings and use audible cues to know what's going on around you

Arktinen: I haven't seen a speedrunning group in a while, those groups could clear platinum in 8-9 min by blocking spawns and missiling entire waves. It was how people got maxed super fast without grinding through game after game of platinum with subpar teammates in pugs. Took a lot of organization to pull it off but the results were millions of credits in a fraction of the time. And Forest is right, situational awareness is most important in soloing, knowing your DPS is 2nd.

Sorry bout hijacking your thread Psic0, carry on! :D

It would seem that my attitude was probably the 'meh' element in the Krysae QMI run for me.  When it's just shooting and 'nading, I tend to lose interest after a few waves.  And I don't often even spec into his other 'power'.  Can barely keep myself awake even just typing Tactic......zzzzzzzzzzz.  B)

The Krysae has found a permanent home on my SI at least.  Talk about a giblet factory...

Forest,,, I expect at least some type of effort with random pugs..they should at least equip level 1 stuff ....Like the other night when you dropped into that Ghost hazard cerberus game with me and that group  ( thank god you did.....I was so relieved when you did cuz I knew you are a killer.. ) those guys didnt equip anything..started dying right next to each other and wouldnt revive each other when they were right there....they werent killing anything..they helped with 1 objective...All I ask of groups like that...equip level 1 stuff, help objectives...thats all I want out of random pugs

Harrier is overrated. It is marginally passable on TGI, good on Turian soldier and fits well only quarksman. For most other characters it is somewhat on the useless side.

Drelldept with AMIII. Fits perfectly with the high mobility frequent grenade pickup hit'n'run mentality.

Oh yeah, I've seen a few videos of those - that looked like absolute efficiency and also needs some disciplined players who know what they're doing. Good for those lovely credits. However, I do like to learn the game by playing, I have a personal coach sitting next to me often when I do ;) ... and earn my credits honestly and with work.

Situational awareness has increased a lot first on gold, then plat.  Occasionally to the extent that i spook at enemies creaping up on me, and shriek in an unusually high-pitched girly voice when startled. I feel sorry for my teammates' ears - who luckily then laugh at/about it.

Sorry for the hijack, Psico -- my suggestion for gold vids is Volus, volus everywhere. All volus/voluses/voli (?) , can't get enough of those little balls of fury.

It's decent on BatSol, with his Racial Ammo and Explosive Ballistic Blades+Heavy Melee combo for CQC.  Though I currently have a PPR on him since I was playing Plat a few days ago and I keep forgetting to swap it back for Gold.  Don't take Harrier to Plat, on ANY kit.
