Would it be cool to be able to practice the religion in the real world? What do you think about it?

If I were to choose a fictional god to worship, the Maker is not the one I would pick.

Clearly Arceus is where it's at.

There are plenty of similarities with Christendom, so I dunno if it would be that different from what's already out there. But, why not? Can't be that bad  ^_^

I wouldn't... stil trying to organise more dynamite for Anders really. But anyone else can worship whatever they want... or nothing at all.

Hah.. This is like the Jedi religion.

I'm already a Christian and my favorite Saint is Joan of Arc. That's as close to Andrastianism as I'll get, I guess.

No, because it is a lowbrow tumor on Maker's divine name. Imperial Chantry on the other hand, well, I find it to be a splendid idea!

May the Maker breath through Patriarchs!

No, we already have Christianity. The Chantry is Hollywood Medieval Catholicism mainstream Western Christianity wearing thin face paint.

Not sure that can happen until BW clarifies what Andrastians believe.

Is it a deistic faith where the faithful don't expect their prayers to be answered (DAO Chantry) or one that is more in line with a god that is believed to answer prayers (Inquisition)?

Those Orlesian nobles at the party talked about hoping the Maker will answer their prayers for peace, not Andraste. Leliana also believes the Maker works in the world, so maybe it will swing more with her ideas, but what the Chantry believes hasn't been consistent.

I don't know why anyone would like the Northern Chantry. Maker or not, the real point of Andraste was that she was a rebel and fought slavers. Remove all the religion and that's what it's really about. There's nothing cool about slavers...unless you're some Edgelord. And the worst thing Tevinter did is use her symbol and just maintained the same crap. That's worse than killing her.

I'm with Anders.

I am too. Just not Justice.

He said the same thing I did... that Andraste freed slaves. He focused on the important thing.

I just don't think killing old women and people in prayer is the way to go about it.

I just said: I'm with Anders. (But I assume: the old women was not prayed in the temple. The old women was there were was the scandal: on the town square.)

Town square?

There's all kinds of people in that Chantry... just praying and stuff. And i'm sure there's even more than what we see. It's the central Chantry in the Free Marches. Elthina was a Grand Cleric.. not merely Reverend Mother of one city. We're just limited by game technicalities.. much like all of DA2's city.

He killed people who didn't deserve it. Old women among them.

Really sorry, may I was rough, but this was only a (bad) joke...

That moment is pretty dramatic and one of the best scenes with a rival Anders. He is so torn up about what he did, sees himself as a monster that he can't stop, and asks Hawke to kill him. (iirc)

You're not helping your case. I can't stand the Qunari. :P

Seriously though.. I think Anders alone could've been alright. That's what's sad about it to me.

(My Hawkes never was rival with Anders, but the moment is much more dramatic in the friendship, I think.)

I rival him, but it's kind of difficult.. since I still believe in some of his causes. Just not all the methods (especially the last one).
