Mitigating circumstance: I do not think, my Adaar devoted follower of the qun...

I don't like them, period. Just graphically..or in the story. lol Sorry. I don't want to derail on this.

I like your other character though :D

Okay... Thank you on behalf of all my characters. :)

In any case, I disagree with your Qunari too. Because of what I pointed out. Strip all the religion away, and I still admire Andraste just for fighting slavers. I don't dismiss it as a cult... it still makes her worthy of following to me. Especially in this setting, where there still aren't enough people who think like her.

My qunari don't refuse the Andrastian religion. He live among the humans. He just reject Corypheus' cult... and another stupid and dangerous cults

Fair enough. I thought he was writing everything off as a cult. I don't remember the details of that scene now :)

Awesome idea, OP. Clearly the world needs more more ways to mask intolerance and bigotry with "divine" mandate.

Well, they did say Andrastianism, right? Like I keep saying, it was a slave revolt. It's not necessarily the Orlesian Chantry.

If you mean the conflict with Dalish (and knowing you, I think you do), they're just as intolerant. That's part of their charm, if you ask me. Whenever there's a more Hippy Dalish, I'm a little disappointed. :P

No, more or less you can already if you want to. Maker = God, Andraste = Virgin Mary, Maferath =Judas, Corypheus = Lucifer. We don't need any more of that under different names than we already have.

Just another faction to set rules and then stand around and claim they are the only ones who are right, and everyone who doesn't believe will suffer for all eternity and, should be ostracized, persecuted, even killed. There is enough of that in this world already, let's not give it any more.

That's like almost every faction in DA.

"True" dwarves, dalish, andrastians, qunari, venatori, Avvar... all could be said to be like that.

Each religion's priests and belivers says (and belive!) that theirs religion is the only true. If it were not so, it is not a religion, but just a philosophical direction. This is the nature of religion. Therefore, why the Andrastianism (and another fantasy world's religion) can not be religion in the real world. Because the people can not believe that is true

This was a serious response to a devoid of seriousness topic. (It seems I have very much time ...)

Given that all of the most important tenets and figures are explicitly fictional (as opposed to historical but with some garbling and revisions), there wouldn't be much point to it. (Really, how does one observe "magic is meant to serve man, never to rule over him" when there's no such thing as magic?)
