Last Flight belongs after The Masked Empire.

Chronologically speaking: Last Flight plays during DA:I AND 800 years ago during the 4th Blight, while the stuff that happens in The Masked Empire, happens after DA2, but before DAI.

Not in DAI, during DAI.

The story in Last Flight happens during 9:41 - 9:42 Dragon (DAI) and also during 5:12 - 5:24 Exalted (4th Blight)

None?  I'm a little confused.

No Novel happens IN Dragon Age: Inquisition

In Last Flight finds a character (Valya) a diary from a Warden (Isseya). Which she wrote during the Fourth Blight and the point of view switches between those two characters.

Valya's POV: 9:41 - 9:42 Dragon  <-- happens simultaneous with Dragon Age: Inquisition (DAI starts in 9:41)

Isseya's POV: 5:12 - 5:24 Exalted  <-- time of the Fourth Blight

And how? The Inquisitor can be from four races, three classes and two genders. How would you write a book and not contradict player choices?

You could only do that if the game and all choices in it were linear and set in stone, which they aren't.

No. Just because of the cover of the game is a human, that doesn't mean that the default!Inquisitor is human.

Okay, let me phrase it otherwise:

How do you go through a whole book, without mentioning the race, gender, or class of the main chara a single time?

How do you describe the Inquisitor in the book? Just as The Herald/The Inquisitor without an own name, backstory and abilities?

How?

The Inquisitor does this. The Inquisitor does that. <-- ?

Please explain how it is Easy to not write about race/gender/class etc of the main chara of a story?

I bought all 5 novels, for my Kindle, at the same time and read them all in one week. That's what I suggest you do if you can afford all of them at once.  :D

I've only read TME because i considered it provided information i needed before playing Trespasser and because i could only afford one so i had to choose and TME seemed the most relevant to me at that moment. I really liked it and i intend to get the other novels whenever i can.

As for an Inquisition novel i guess we could get one set during Inquisition but set somewhere else, if not about the Inquisitor because as pointed out before it'd be difficult to write about a character that has as many versions as there are players; it'd be interesting to learn what was going on in say, Antiva or the Free Marches, or get a closer look at Tevinter, while the Inquisitor was parading all over Orlais and Ferelden.Sadly, i don't think we'll get something like that any time soon, or ever.
