That's actually the sneak preview of our portrait in AHF. She did a plat solo just to that purpose. To hide small details in that photo - who will be darth vader, Kathryn from hunger games. We must analyze and write blogs in the absence of EA marketing department (it's better than that dog tag idea). Questions questions...

I was just going to cheese my 1st ps3 gold solo last night... went with kroguard w reegar vs geth... i left the map unknown.. rolled glacier hazard...1st spawn in the basement on wave 1...I charged a rocket trooper just as it double tapped me and the swarm was already there waiting for me........I died...and I quit.  

 

         I used 3 level 3 consumables to kill 1 rocket trooper......so you tell me, who really won in this situation?

Melee kroguard vs Geth is not the best solo setup, it's so mindnumbingly single minded that Bronze is the most I can handle with that. Though I often solo Silver with my Carnage spec KroGuard for levelling up my Vanguards. Siege Pulse Jugger with Incendiary Ammo vs Reapers is by far the easiest and safest solo. People need to stop recommending KroGuard vs Geth.

Well, that's nightman though. I think a geth scumcheater needs at least what? a fourtuple tap to bring down the shields of a Kroguard who just charged?

 

Anyway, there are several solos which are just as easy, mind you. I just found it weird to see someone saying that of the Kroguard. But I understand, yeah, it's pretty boring, and it's much faster if you don't use melee much. But I'm curious now, what you mean by skipping the best power in the game?

You're definitely in it for the pain. Only the themed challenges of prestacious remain between you and utter boredom. Take it slower - for the sake of our ever-refreshing and invigorating companionship in-game...

Sting beating the **** out of a 12 year old never got old. I still remember first seeing that commercial. We need more awesome wrestlers making kids take huge bumps. Get Brock to suplex 3 CoD players through a window with one arm! He can legit do it.

Dude, it's very hard to die as a krogan vanguard even off host. Tons of shields with biotic charge and melee damage reduction is hard to put down unless you get some extreme lag. It's not a spawn nuke but it sure is fun! You add some reegar cheese on top and you almost feel sorry for the geth (almost but not quite).

 

But my personal recommendation would be to take the Wraith like a proper krogan or the Claymore if you've got the quads.

Why must I fail at everything.

 

I am trying to do some soloing after a quite long break (two years or something, I think). Started with Survive The Gordian Hour challenge, since I am quite impressed and glad those are still going on.  Figured that better start at the deep end and go straight for the sub20 challenges, because l2play scrubs etc.

 

 

 

Until the match ends and the final time is like 22:20. I don't even.......

It has the super fast cooldown of Concussive Shot, does more armour damage per shot than Incinerate, still detonates all tech powers on all defenses, AND primes on health and armour. I've found my views on this matter aren't particularly agreed with. Especially not with the KroGuard where I shoot incendiary ammo, detonate with carnage, carnage prime, charge detonate (need fast cooldown as priming window is not good) for double fire explosions, which I find FAR more enjoyable than the mindless two-button combo of the melee KroGuard.

 

Also, Melee KroGuard PUGs are even worse than Warlord PUGs, tell THEM it's impossible to die.

Died about 15 times on wave 1 and used 3 medigels. Quit the solo on wave 2. In fact, I quit 3 almost-consecutive games on that day (1 solo and 2 team games), all with the Alliance infiltrator. I've achieved true n00b status.

Lol. Well... I can see why it wouldn't be particularly agreed with! I don't mind it, and I think it can easily fit in a Kroguard build (though not so much during gameplay), but... You know very well it's not even half close to be the best power in the game
