It has the super fast cooldown of Concussive Shot, does more armour damage per shot than Incinerate, still detonates all tech powers on all defenses, AND primes on health and armour. I've found my views on this matter aren't particularly agreed with. Especially not with the KroGuard where I shoot incendiary ammo, detonate with carnage, carnage prime, charge detonate (need fast cooldown as priming window is not good) for double fire explosions, which I find FAR more enjoyable than the mindless two-button combo of the melee KroGuard.
Also, Melee KroGuard PUGs are even worse than Warlord PUGs, tell THEM it's impossible to die.

Have been trying to do those Silver solo challenges but once again: "You lost your connection to EA servers." It also seems to do this when I'm at wave 8-11 and thinking: "Oh yeah, this is going so smooth, I'm doing it this time." Hah! Nope.

Equiped up KroSol, hosted a public Gold lobby, started, because to hell with waiting. 40 minutes of an increasing number of lag spikes later... mission failed.
It was horrible, and wonderful, at the same time. Fire Explosions everywhere, it was beautiful. Lag spikes happening more and more as the game went on, at more and more inconvenient times. Wave 3 and 6 were Escorts. Had 3 medigel and ops left at that point, so was feeling confident enough, also had missiles, because before wave 10, all I did was nuke double banshees at the end of the waves. Even got saved from a Banshee grab by a Marauder and Ravager combo. Wave 10.... Escort. It was horrible, it took me two missiles just to get it 10% done and escape. After kiting as much as far as I could, I run back to find... A banshee screaming at the drone, she hadn't moved, and I was wondering why the drone kept "applying neural shock", a lone Banshee isn't too difficult to confuse though, especially since she seemed even more stupid than her usual brethren. It was messy, it was horrible, and then, as I was finishing the escort (whilst standing on a staircase)... Space Magic Banshee decides to teleport to the top of the stairs and grab me.... NOOOOOO.... Then, at the last moment before I die, the money pops up. Payday!
So, full payout, interestingish story to tell, adds up to a decent public solo, atleast there was no bad PUGs (that came later).
First one:
Needed Guardian points to complete Cerberus challenge as it was dragging in my 'almost completed challenges' for quite some time. Set lobby to U/U/Silver and 'quit -> start a new game' until I get Cerberus, it took me about three attempts to get Condor/Cerberus. Hay, at least it is Cerberus. Ignored objectives for as much as possible just to kill as much Guardians as possible. GI+Valiant was the quit for that because why not get rid of crappy sniper rifle in one go as well?
Second one:
Decided to take SI+Mantis for a spin on U/U/G. Waited for lobby to fill up, but PUGs decided to not play with me tonight.
'OK, I will just start the match, and you guys join whenever you want?' - I said, nobody replied. Anyways, outcome:
I gave up on quick solos. I don't know what it takes for a quick solo and I know I don't have it... But this was just painful, in terms of time it took and in terms of me falling in trap of 'Ok, just this one wave, maybe somebody joins.'
Second one:

Haven't played in forever so I thought oh I'll just do a quick ghost bronze because I'm McScrub. Forgot last time I set up a match it was for gold so I didn't change any of the settings thinking I may suck but no one will see me TGI. As soon as wave 1 starts I realized oh...****. Fortunately it was what's the term...pyjak mode as it randomized into giant reaper.
Yes I know TGI so I shouldn't be surprised I survived with the kit but damn it took forever to kill the banshees with the vindicator.

Smart ass jest aside I feel your pain. This is why I usually don't solo past bronze- stinks to lose the goods but not really that crushing unless you sunk loads of consumables.

2. Powers that were used to detonate their own element don't reprime the target. The only exceptions to this are Biotic Bubble and Lash.

I'm trying to do a sub20 gold solo, but so far I've had devices in every run Last week I did a 24:24 solo, this week I got it down to 23:22. Doesn't matter I guess, even if I had perfect objectives I wouldn't be able to sub20, as I just started speedrunning (and I'm a huge scrub). ONE DAY

If you are asking about the group, then I have to say that I have no idea, sorry. Personally yeah sort of come back. It's mainly something between procrastinating and being nostalgic. Mostly just casual pugging with bad weapons, silly builds and trying weapons / kits I never really used when I was more involved with the game.
The whole Spectre thing. I probably wouldn't make the cut anymore, lol, but as I see the group seems to be pretty inactive, and majority of players I knew have moved on. Good times, but I don't see myself putting that much interest or time to this game anymore.

W10 of valkyrie venom on cerb white, with 4 missiles left. Got stuck and surrounded down the ladder near LZ witt the first pizza, 2 medigels + 1 missile. Second pizz is up the other ladder, i go around the circling ramp to avoid 3 phantoms, and try my luck with a direct run. I suck and loose the pizza few times (yeah my spacebar is not on top anymore), one last time right on the LZ edge. I m inside it and the 3 phantoms are malking funny moves on the pizza, i pick it around the edge or the fighter. Banshee's grab ! lol. Get downed by the phantoms fast enough, last gel, insta cutip pick !

1. It doesn't. The cooldown time is way too long compared to how terrible this power is.
2. You said double fire explosion, which implies that you can get two FE's with IR > Carnage > Charge, which even if Carnage would reprime for FE, still wouldn't work because the priming window is extremely short.
3. What you're saying is simply not true. I just tested it with the lowest possible recharge speed on Carnage, and you cannot detonate it yourself.
Carnage is objectively one of the worst powers in the game. Meh damage with a long cooldown. The only character that can self detonate it is the BF Soldier with grenades.
Edit: Ninjaed by Loufi, I did the same test as him, and got the same results.
