Since everyone's doing DAI/Venom on White/Cerberus, I figured I'd see how much my time would've improved. RNG was like lolnope, devices on wave 3, 3 games in a row. 

 

As if I have tons of Shotgun Amp IIIs.

I was killing the last atlas of w10 on a very tedious solo platinum solo challenge that had taken my multiple attempts, and I had enough medigel and ops to make it through the extraction, when -- Well, that's just great.

I don't care for solos for their own sake. I do bronze or silver just to explore new kits or builds. If I do get into a gold solo, it's because I started a mission and no one else showed up. So the game gears everything up for a team game, but I'm in there alone with a character and kit designed for a team. Always a fail. 

 

I would be more interested if the game awarded more credits for a solo game.

I would never do solos if not for challenge completion. Bronze and silver ones are dull, and I'm not prepared for the stress of gold, so it's just tedious.

embarrassing....

 

was quite angry yesterday due to work issues and decided it would be fun to do a lolbronze solo (yeah, I know, don't judge) with the warlord - headbutting all the things or swinging the hammer... worked very well, I laughed as maniacally as the Krogan did and my anger slowly abated...

 

then came wave 9: Banshee was the last enemy standing.. I shot her down to one health bar and thought, naaah ... a true krogan needs to melee her to death...

 

 

 

let's just say... my anger level rose again

It wasn't pretty but it's done. These last two solos feel more authentic than the krogan vanguard against geth on giant that I did for the first two gold solos.

Sort-of-soloed (nobody joined my open game) Vancouver/Gold/Collectors with Batarian Sentinel. Went incredibly well until some pesky Praetorian snuck up to me at wave 6 and got its tentacles out.

Was doing my first Platinum Solo ever with Geth Pyro Trooper (thanks to Caineghis2500 for his guide) versus Reapers on Giant. Flawless (no consumables) until the damn Banshee grabbed me on Wave 8 because I got stuck in cover...

At least the Banshee got a bronze medal out of it.

Volus vanguard. Gold/Cerberus/Jade. What a proper little wrecking ball this little fellow is. Rocked the Reegar w/incindiary rounds. Adrenaline mod. Awesome game. Really fun. Full extraction ofcourse. I had never really looked much at my VV. Now I'm glad I did.

I was trying to break the PS3 record for the Vorcha Soldier. It's not enough that I got Devices and double Targets, Oni ninja joined on wave 8 and didn't notice what was going on, so he started running towards the enemies. I had to get on my mic and politely ask him to leave before he dealt any damage.

 

In the end I didn't get the challenge points and didn't even bother to take a screenshot because it wasn't sub-30. All this at 4 AM.

 

10/10 would solo Plat again.

Yeah I had one of those last week, I had a great run with the DAI on White vs Collectors, with 30 seconds left on wave 11 I get sniped by the Prime and when I got up the whole goon squad was on me resulting in mission failed, a little bit of rage indeed

I prefer Brute targets to the Marauders they tend to switch to. fk Shield Gate. Brutes are some of the most laughable mission targets in the game.

I was using the Wraith so shield gate is no issue with them. Unfortunately targets kill your time on solos, so...

Many of my first solos were very long, at this stage you might say that I've done it an unhealthy amount of times (especially Cerberus on White).
