There's just so much more passion and romance in a long distance relationship. Couples that are around eachother all the time, take it for granted. They don't love eachother anymore and stay in the relationship out of convenience.

I want that unbearable longing to hold someone, to be so passionately in love that nothing matters besides the seconds/minutes/hours/days until you get hear their voice, or experience the taste of their lips again.....I need this so badly! It would really make this forever alone Virgo happy.

How do I put this...

If you're being sincere about wanting this, then I think you might be disappointed. It's not a terrible idea, but it doesn't sound like it would truly make for a good story. Those relationships are better on paper than in practice. Or in this case, in a video game. A few holo calls, some emails, and that's just about it? Or is it the reunion and the implied romance between the two lovers after time apart that appeals to you?

Not to be rude, but real life internet relationships are great for that. I'd suggest trying to go that route, and see what it's like for yourself. Have that experience first, then consider what you're really asking for in a ME game. For what it's worth, I've had two of them prior to me meeting my husband. They both didn't pan out. People move on, people want to be close to someone, and people do change. Relationships work the best when people are changing together, and it's easier to learn about each other when you see them more often.

Also, one bit of advice: Don't refer to yourself by your astrological sign. It makes it a little difficult to take what you say seriously. And it looks pretty silly. Nothing personal, just friendly advice. :)

I can see where your coming from OP, but I wouldn't want to have a long distance relationship in a video game. Tbh In every bioware game I have played, I like to be able to drag my LI all over the place and always have them with me. I mean the romance banter is always something to look forward too. Also its nice to see my chosen LI react to certain situations, like my character being flirted with and they act jealous ( Kaiden, ME) or one of my favorite banters between IB and cole about his and my inquisitor's love life. Oh and I cant forget how the LI's in DAI react if I drink from the well (ex: Blackwall).

Again I understand, but I wouldn't want that kind of LI in any game I play.

I really want a passionate relationship with one of the NPCs and don't see any way around building tension through distance. I never really felt any emotional connection with any of the NPC. It felt more friend with benefits than anything.

Of course I'd want to meet up with them from time to time or it becomes counter productive, the long distance. Bioware could throw in a romance option with someone not in the crew who shows up from time to time to help with missions and is a real badaxe. We could shoot eachother emails from our private terminals, flirt, plan dates and coordinate missions.

I'm not photogenic nor 10/10 supermodel status so online dating is just not in the cards for me. My best hope is to live vicariously through video game romances.

Okay Bunz <_<

I thought the same thing

Gotta hand it to you, Bunz-buddy; at least you're creative. My favourite by far is when you tried to convince everyone that you're a trans otherkin Quarian princess though. I should hire you to help me write.

You're trying too hard.

Or not hard enough. I haven't decided yet.

I wouldn't mind if say one of the romance options was on the main ship so we only ever got to see them when we dock with it, and while we are out on missions treat it like a long-distance relationship.

That's about as long-distance the relationship can be considering the setting.

If we get this in the game then i want to have my LI's head grafted onto my MC's body so we'd never be apart.

from ME1 to ME2, if you're /romancing Liara, it's kind of a long distance thing. Still cheated on her with Thane tho.

Considering that laying a hand on someone is also an expression for violence and is often used when talking about abuse in relationships, I should certainly hope not.

So, basically a re-hashing of Shepard and Jacob's off-screen romance, only this time he refrains from roger-dodgering alternate universe Hawke?

I dunno man. If Jo Wyatt, Jennifer Hale, or Courtenay Taylor voice npcs in Andromeda, I will Dear John my LI so fast. Temptation would be too much to bear.
