I made one of these threads over in the Mass Effect 3 section and it's been quite entertaining.

 

I actually had a Dragon Age dream last night. 

 

I was in this palace, and we were getting ready for Alistair to come eat a feast with us (The Inquisitor and Morrigan, I was Morrigan! Which I thought was hilarious, I've never really liked Morrigan.)

 

Anyway, Alistair and one of my highschool friends show up with a dog that they've trained never to go number 2. I remember feeling jealous, yet Alistair and Morrigan (me) were married....but the Inquisitor made it clear that I wasn't to distract Alistair from his "mission." 

 

 

 

I had a marshamallow milkshake before I went to bed last night.

 

Never again.

But I've never had a DA dream dream, as sad as that sounds...

Marshmallow milkshake?  Mmmm.....I'll take crazy Morrigan and Alistair dreams for that, totally worth it. 

 

Sadly I've never dreamt about BioWare.  Although I woke up this morning dreaming that I was married to a hot but oh so shy footballer who owned a Scottish castle.  I'd swap him for Varric any day.

It's an old dream that I wrote down for another thread but never posted it. Still:

 

I was playing the game and my mother came into the room saying that she'd take me up on my request to watch me play. I was about to talk to Cullen and suspected that a romantic talk might be firing, so I warned her. So the Inquisitor walked into the room and it fired a cutscene of the Inquisitor and Cullen singing "You're the one that I want" from Grease. Coupled with jumps, dancing and swirling camera. 

I was amazed and then my father came in and asked what was going on, so I reloaded the game to show him, but this time the cutscene showed the Inquisitor climbing through a small window into Skyhold basement, where Vivienne, Dorian, Sera, Cassandra and the Iron Bull were drinking booze. Vivienne had red wine, Dorian something sparkly, Cassandra had a beer and I think Iron Bull and Sera were sharing hard liquor. Vivienne beckoned the Inquisitor and asked her to join their little party and the screen faded to black. 

I figured that these were just random cutscenes that triggered when the Inquisitor hadn't talked to her companions in some time. I was about to reload when I woke up and remembered that these cutscenes don't actually exist in game. It was quite sad.

I was about to talk to Cullen and suspected that a romantic talk might be firing, so I warned her. So the Inquisitor walked into the room and it fired a cutscene of the Inquisitor and Cullen singing "You're the one that I want" from Grease. Coupled with jumps, dancing and swirling camera. 

I was amazed and then my father came in and asked what was going on, so I reloaded the game to show him, but this time the cutscene showed the Inquisitor climbing through a small window into Skyhold basement, where Vivienne, Dorian, Sera, Cassandra and the Iron Bull were drinking booze. Vivienne had red wine, Dorian something sparkly, Cassandra had a beer and I think Iron Bull and Sera were sharing hard liquor. Vivienne beckoned the Inquisitor and asked her to join their little party and the screen faded to black. 

I figured that these were just random cutscenes that triggered when the Inquisitor hadn't talked to her companions in some time. I was about to reload when I woke up and remembered that these cutscenes don't actually exist in game. It was quite sad. 

 

 

This dream is fabulous. Musical numbers, sparkles, and awkward parents.

My Dragon Age dreams usually involve Morrigan and a tent.

I had a dream I needed one more shard, just one more!  It was 3 pixels out of camp but was on an unreachable ledge!  Then it took me 4 hours of game play to circumvent a whole mountain range to try and get the shard, then I had to hop hop hop until my fingers could almost get it!  What a nightmare of a dream.....then I realized it was no dream but regular game play.

I had a dream a while ago which seemed to be a really strange crossover between Morrowind, DAO and Game of Thrones. It is hard to explain.

I've had a total of three Dragon Age-related dreams:

 

1. I was on a date with Alistair and we had a nice lunch together (now THAT was a good dream) 

 

2. When I was about halfway through Inquisition I had a dream where it was revealed that Solas was a god - and when I awoke I dismissed it as being far to unbelievable...   *facepalm*

 

3. I had a fever dream where I was chased by the Dread Wolf (in his actual wolf form)

After killing Flemeth in Origins I dreamt she came back alive in the sequel and corrupted all my save files as punishment.

 

Thankfully only half that dream came true!

I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?

I actually had a Dragon Age dream last night.

Interesting that you were Morrigan in the dream, since the dream I was going to post involved me being someone else as well!

 

So yeah, I actually had a dream where I was the Inquisitor, but not even my canon one. My Cullenmancer, and I was marrying Cullen On a beach. It was lovely. It may have been because I live next to the beach.

 

It was so weirdly real though, because I really wasn't myself, I was Rowan, and I was flipping ecstatic to be marrying Cullen, even though I'm not into guys. Apparently role-playing is taken to the extreme in dreams, and transcends sexual orientation!

 

It was a great dream though.

I had a dream last night..it was very involved but the DAI highlight is that I told my best friend in the dream about how Solas stole all of my bank cards and had all of my money buried in alternative dimension and I was upset I can't access my entire funds. She asked me who tf Solas is- and then I had to explain to her that he's just a video game character and she rolled her eyes at me.

I think I dreamt Solas once when the game released and I was doing my first playthrough (which I scrapped before finishing the game because no DLCs and patched had been released and my Inquisitor looked might awkward with in-game lighting).

I do dream that I am playing games, including Dragon Age, quite frequently, but I don't remember anything specific.

I made the horrible mistake of reading this during lunch break at work. I couldn't contain the giggles that resulted and received the most curious looks from the coworkers across from me hehe

I was  with an archdemon lying on the ground and thousands of Duncan  were behind me  whispering  with a costantly increasing volume of voice

"strike the blow,strike the blow,strike the blow...." so i did it then i woke up into a new world that was just my house.

I need a psychologist for sure.
