Hi, I'm having trouble with both ME1 (steam ed.) and ME2 (steam deluxe ed.). I'm experiencing stuttering gameplay and cutscenes on all settings high and low. I'm also experiencing stuttering or out of synch sound and/or cackling very rapid stuttering in dialouge. I running windows 7 64bit on a brand new Dell Studio XPS 1645 with an Intel Core i7 processor @1.73ghz and an ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1gb. I've attempted to update drivers and I'm pretty sure I did all that correctly. I'm not tech savy at all so any help would be appreciated.

having the same issue as well. I have just about replyed to almost every post and made two about this issue. And after reading. I have a question to ask you. Are you using a gigabyte motherboard?

I'm not sure. I don't know where to find the specs on the motherboard. Like I said I'm not particularly learned in these things ^.^

So I turned the resolution in ME1 all the way down to the 640:480 or whatever setting and seemed to have cured the lag (dunno about the sound had the speakers way down) but that just seems a bit distressing on a brand new computer. I haven't tried anything like that in ME2 yet. Hopefully this can get solved so I can play the games all nice and pretty.
