I'm assuming it's common knowledge by now that players usually don't enjoy the screen shaking (specially snipers) like if WW3 had just begun whenever someone throws a grenade 7 kilometers away or you happened to pick the "wrong" gun (a.k.a. Revenant).
Special abilities or skills that add a stupendously hilarious amount of clutter on screen or add some sort of drunk/high effect that murderizes everyone eyes *cough* geth wallhax, krogan blood RAGE *cough*.
So please for Andromeda, reduce the screen shake or take it out altogether. If you want grenades to be "cool" then create a good sound effect for the explosion, add some particles, dust, etc, etc. (and if the gameplay leak is true, you got that covered).
If you're going to implement a special HUD for this or that ability/skill, then make sure it makes sense: we don't need random numbers or BS on screen to know that specific ability is active. Keep the clutter and the weird dizzy effects to the minimum.
I'm obviously taking ME3 as an example here. I have no complains for the original HUD (health bar, ammo count, etc); it was on the most part somewhat minimalist, which I think is good.
One thing I loved about SWTOR is that we were able to customize our HUD elements moving them wherever we wanted. But I'm not necessarily asking for that feature in ME:A, just an observation.
