The funny thing is he was one of the first people I played with when I got a PS4 around Christmas time. That was when I first learned that this game had so many hidden gems of information to find like in this forum. My hat is off to the high rollers that take the time to answer noob questions repeatedly with respect, you are the reason I have become glued to my television at every free minute I get ![]()

Yep. Friends don't let friends have nice things.

Right now I should be like 7th on my friends' list, and 8th on PC rankings. I am kinda familiar with most high-prestige PC players, so the two lists have been sorta close-ish. Though I personally haven't played the game since the last Challenges pack - that was like November or so.

At times I would like to, but there is no more meaningful progression left for me to do (no way I am grinding for the Slayer nor the Banker or whatever challenge at this point just because Bioware was unable to make them retroactive). Besides the unfixed bugs, the lag, the black screen of death, the scattered playerbase, the region-lock... Also, there are other games out there to be played that do not share these stressful shortcomings.
I just hope Bioware learns from DAMP's multiple flaws and release a merited long-running multiplayer game next time.

Right on all that. No retroactivity, the blackscreens, stupid area region lock, etc.
But still - the Slayer grind awaits..
Care to guess which character, difficulty setting, and map, leads my spreadsheet in kills per minute efficiency while soloing?

Now you got me. I haven't played for too long and I never experimented much on solo kills grinding. My guess would be the Avvar on Perilous, but I might be completely wrong. As for the map, I would say Orlesian Chateu just because it is the classic one ![]()

So were you testing the efficiency when I pop into your game?
For me it would be either AW or Duelist in routine FC map I think. I think Duelist will edge out AW because of animation cancel on bolting... it is slightly faster than basic attack with heart of pride. CL may reach more in one shot, but I think broadside is not far behind. But when you have to kill hundreds of thousands.. it would be hard on the finger to keep tapping the shift key every kill..... so in the long term.. I would pick AW for his range, mobility, and AE damage and ease of play.

I found the Avvar was fastest on Perilous FC (13-14min for 320+ kills)
but for gods sake please spec STORMBRINGER or your entire run could be ruined by a wolf running around on a rooftop laughing at you !
AW and Duelist were close but still a minute or two slower overall.
I could not bring myself to play anything lower than Perilous while grinding so I could not tell you how Threatening and Routine compare. I am pretty sure there are less enemies on those difficulties though.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'm going to run home during my lunch break, and armed with this knowledge secure the slayer achievement asap.
Oh.. wait.. I need to run 826 perilous FC runs with my Avvar to reach it! And that will take 186 hours!

That's why I put "routine" on mine.
And good tip on the stormbringer smurf!
The other day... the whole team was looking up thru the crack on the roof at the wraith laughing at us up there. It would have been funny to me if I was not the host and the one who has to leave... ![]()

I often wonder.. if you unfriend someone.. do they know right the way?
Does it say something like
"lcneed just unfriended YOU!!!!!"?
Or is it more like they won't know it unless they started looking for your name on their friend list?
For educational purpose only of course...

No, it's pretty subtle.

Game doesn't inform the player they have been unfriended.
It's just a way of not losing all your hard work.

Yep, as to the game the other day.
It's all about kills per minute efficiency; and you hit it on the head, it has to be easy, cause it's gonna take awhile.

He is very close to tops on my list. Though PC is more tiring to play than HL.
OSK is the goal, with AOE to speed things up.
PC works, HL works, and exploding arrows also work. CL is close to these on lower levels, but can't be spammed as fast.

Are you running inferno belt to make hot licks viable? Tried it a while ago and HL was just a pain in the arse without the belt, and I needed to constantly use knight music to stay alive using the belt, if there was guardian spirit I probably wouldn't bother with LKM and would feel safer.
Easier to just power chord everything as it is.

I missed this the first time.. you do animation cancelling on BOLT?! I try to avoid animation cancelling as much as possible; I just find it is less fun. I primarily do it on the melee, especially at early levels when you actually have to basic attack so much.

Oh yeah. Animation cancel does not work on Bow but it works on Bolt. You are like 30% faster on bolting. By now it has become muscle memory. I am hitting shift key without even knowing it. It also lessen the strain on the mouse hand as I could just hold down the attack key and use the left hand shift key to control attack speed. I think you play on controller so it is probably harder for you.

Too easy thesedays. We had to put up with the joystick jiggling of these.
