I had a really memorable battle with Vinsomer the first time I ever beat her. It was on Hard, I think. I came in with my 2-handed warrior, plus Cassandra, Blackwall and The Iron Bull, so a party of 4 warriors - I wanted to try something different.
Unsurprisingly, Bull didn't last very long (he might have had the Berserk ability on his weapon at the time), but what was surprising was that my Inquisitor managed to outlast Cassandra, despite having almost no way to generate guard. Cass died just when I thought the battle was getting good - probably around 75% HP.
Eventually the Inquisitor died, so I revived him and Bull, but Cassandra was too far away, and I wanted to save the Healing Mist grenades in case the Inquisitor was KO'd again. Bull died again right after I revived him.
Blackwall is always a weaker tank than Cassandra for me, and I have a habit of favouring my current romance when it comes to equipment. So Blackwall should hardly have lasted as long as her, yet somehow, he was the only one not to get knocked out, and he only needed a potion right near the end of the battle. Having two Champions using To The Death is really useful, especially if they have Combat Roll to make sure the dragon doesn't get too far away - but I didn't give Blackwall Combat Roll, and gave him both horn talents because I like variety.
