I like bw better because of innate piercing and weird auto fire most people don't know about but smr is so far superior there's not even a question of who gets my vote

Didn't we have this debate already, a long while ago? I believe that while the BW has higher damage, the valient shoots much faster and as a result both have around the same dps. The BW can be reload cancelled though and individual shots hit harder and have innate piercing, so personally my vote goes to the BW. 

 

Also more seriously, a comparison with different people using the two guns is gonna have a bias based on the skill of the person and individual playstyles. So I don't think it will be an apt comparison of the two guns. But who cares, bring on the THUNDADOME!
