BW wins, not even a contest. It can 1 shot Fantums, it can 1 shot most mooks with body shots and it straight up melts bosses. And it has innate piercing so shooting through cover doesn't reduce damage.

When you are talking guns with virtually the same mechanics (In this case, multi-shot semi-auto Snipers), the spreadshet has ALL the answers, and to argue with it, is illogical, maths doesn't lie.

Therefore, Valiant is the superior gun in EVERY way, even against bosses. If you can't aim, neither will help you. Honourable mention to the Viper for having almost 80% of the Black Widow's DPS. As an unliked uncommon, that's a pretty good achievement.

That's why I mentioned the same mechanics thing. Neither of them have any beneficial factors that aren't mentioned in the spreadsheet. Neither of them are Claymoar, neither of them sounds particularly awesome, etc.

some important stuff are left over, like TTK mooks. Inhate piercing is a big plus too.
Higher damage per shot is also a plus imo
But yeah, sound might be the most important thing

Yeah well, the BW has a 1.0 headgib chance tho, the Valiant does not
Still, I wasn't actually refering to those things. Which are really the most important I believe, but in the spirit of a practical "which is the best gun from a gameplay point of view", I intended to keep them aside, and was actually talking about the things which are most relevant to that question, which are TTKs, BTKs, burst DPS, and things like that, which all miss from that chart

Valiant DPS is higher, so Valiant has better boss TTK (All that matters on Gold/Plat).
Mook TTK? Same, headshot from either kills mooks.

If I can reliably headshot on console, you PC people who keep claiming that it is easier to headshot on PC should be able to do it constantly.
