It's not my favorite just as a general experience, but ME3 MP is the only online game where i've actually been remotely involved in the community, even if my "involvement" basically just extends to making a lot of creepy shitposts about turians

I am not really a big fan of PvP shooters/RPG games. I like Co-op/survival/hordemode and ME3MP is daaaa beeeeeest. It became and still is my fav game of this genre from multiplayer demo days pre-release.

It's the most varied. But I've been playing rocket league and its online component is worlds better in terms of performance. Players join quickly, games load fast, there aren't visible bugs, everything is smooth. With ME3 it felt like it was duct taped together.

It's unique. It fits a niche no other game that I know of can- small squad co op horde mode. Even while nowadays mostly playing pvp shooters, I still clock in an hour or so of me3mp every other day. A combination of variety, in guns, factions, kits, maps and powers, sweet spot 20 minute long matches and co op gameplay keep me coming back to mass effect.

Also I'm gonna have to agree with our resident Penguin that the community for me3mp is by far the best I've seen for an online game.

I've done a fair bit of online gaming in the past twenty or so years.

A few Battlefronts(Notably Vietnam and Starwars I/II) which compare quite nicely.

Used to play WoW off and on for 8 years or so. Got heavily into the raiding scene for a while there back in late Vanilla/BC/WOTLK. Then got an even worse case of PvP for three years after that. Gotta say out of all my gaming experiences hands down doing RBGS with the group/guild I'm probably still in was the best experience. Bloody hilarious and definitely the most challenging time I've had in a game.

I tried Warframe and ditched it after about an hour. No thanks.

Got into Firefall for a summer during a particularly stable time in their development.(which isn't saying much) Tried to go back to it but the game is just broken. Unfortunate as the game had a lot of similarities to ME3MP and could've been quite good, even better.

Not the best online game I've played by far, I like my pvp quite a bit. But hands down the best community ever!

It's a buggy, laggy shitpile that contains the worst designed thing in gaming history (the entire geth faction), which attempts to murder my conslol every time I play it. Meanwhile, the community is filled with horribad scrubs and creepy xenophillic perverts, all of whom need constant carrying through every game.

Yet it has glorious quarians, so I still keep playing it, even tho I'm on Battlefront more often nowadays.

I won't play the new Battlefront. All DICE had to do was copy the old one but make everything better and add more maps, a multiplayer mode like the old one before the servers were shut down and maybe change the campaign a little so it's not identical. That's all they had to do. But while I do want to support the empire in its campaign, I'm not going to spend money on a barely complete game when the older ones are infinitely better, and can run on my PC.

Dear me3mp community
I'm new over from SP since 90 Hours and I consider myself already a veteran.

Some pvp games I have played includes Super Mario Bros 2. and 100 others
role play included : tombraider, the legend of zelda, crysis, bioshock and many others
Simulation : sims (looooove those hair options)
So you can see that I am more up to date than most of the people in the previous posts and have global perspective on the gaming industry trends.

Some improvement suggestions
1) all 4 players should independently play in the same lobby without being able to influence another or each other's game.
2) the score board should be taken away - and filled with flowers each time we arrive. Completing stuff is totally unnecessary.
3) experience should be popularity based -on the number of bsn posts and self quotes (not likes)
4) pause button seems bugged
5) need ingame saves to meticulously replay the same scene 1000 times : missing
6) I don't like the wave 1 story ending and immediately quit after that- what's the fuss with claymore- it looks old and belongs in a museum.
7) I don't like different races fighting and some loosing - it contains some "undertones" and kickstarts my SJW engine each time I see "kill"
8) during mp play it should be possible to romance squad members - but please not with real people. Build it so I can romance the rest.
9) please install a mirror somewhere on sum wall for self appreciation.

That's it for now.
Kiss kiss.
Ps. remember to wash with soap, now and then, you dirty lot.

My first multiplayer game ever was Burnout Revenge on the PS2, and Star Wars Battlefront II. Didn't multiplayer much back then. Then I got a PS3 and it was MW2, GTA IV, Battlefield 3 etc. Then I discovered ME3MP and went nuts about how awesome it was. ME3 is my most played game ever. Then SWBF2. Then Skyrim, then ME2 and then Fallout 4.
