Actually, I am taking back all the bagging on assassins creed 4 I have done in this thread.    I have spent the past entire 2 days playing it...and well, I like it. Once you get past the monotony of the forced sea battles....it gets much better.    I have gotten pretty into the multiplayer as well.....it's really fun.

40$ for Overwatch is way too expensive. Very few game modes, few maps. Get's stale quickly.

But Widowmaker reload = jiggly bum-bum. Worth the price right there.

I have no idea how far you are into the game, but there is a part where you get to jump from ship to ship during a mission. That part is ducking awesome.

Actually,   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is a lie. I have played the gears 3's horde mode and I really liked it...it was very limited with having like, 3 maps.......but I really enjoyed playing as that auzzie chick.

That would be Sam Byrne <3! she was my favorite character to play for the MP her and Myrrah were the ish.

I love this. 11 waves, around 15mins each games. Very suitable for working class that have only limited time to play games. Chat windows during deployment would be nice, then again, the wait time in lobby is terrible. Some people waste everyone's time buying packs and upgrading, then leave lobby when they are done. If we can have a chat windows in lobby, maybe we can avoid it. The graphic is still looking good after all these years.

Played some Euro Truck Simulator 2 these days. Store lets me buy what I want, but earning credits is bit more tricky since there is no speed running (well, there is, but it would not end well). Driving trough natural beauties of Poland, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is not easy to compare to killing bugs, overly horny Asaris, and big machines on Jade, Ghost, Reactor, and White since each is beautiful in its own way.

That's, uhh, pretty much the exact opposite of me.  I have played Borderlands 2 some, and a little bit of 3, and enjoyed them to some extent, though only for short periods at a time.  Because I enjoy ME3, I decided to try co-op on BL2.  Ran through two areas with a team, hated it, and I actually haven't bothered to even turn on the game since.  Though if I had someone to play local co-op with, it might be a bit better.  I'm pretty sure the "confined arena survival crap" combined with pure co-op with no PvP is why I enjoy ME3MP so much.  Plus if I want to play through something with any sort of actual narrative, like Borderlands or Dead Space, I WILL take the time to listen to dialogue and enjoy the story, which doesn't really work with random people trying to forcibly push me along because they want to get to the next bit of combat.

Borderlands 2 is such a fun coop game.

If you're on pc we should team up and show those marauders who's the boss. :)

Yes... let's have a BSN tea party!

I'm curious to how the uncharted 4 mp is, anyone tried it yet? I still haven't finished the sp part yet, so not gonna try until I do.

I find it fun. Smooth, easy to get into and unlocking guns, mods and stuff is straightforward - just use the gun/mystical/sidekick/heavy. I haven't played the earlier games though, so can't compare. Hoping they'll add new game modes soon (including a horde mode of some sort), so far deathmatch is the most fun. Control..er.. whatever the capture ABC thing is called, is also okay. Not sure about the ranked deathmatch, but I could see it being lots of fun for the more competitive players. Haven't finished the story either, btw. There are no spoilers and such in the MP, except maybe map locations.

As for comparing MEMP to others, hard to say for me. It was my introduction to multiplayers, and got me hooked (for 2000 hours or so). Tend to prefer pvp now, might be because haven't found a game to compare to ME or might be that I just prefer playing against other players for more variety. ME was more about perfecting my skills getting slightly better through repetition. I enjoyed it, though, and enjoyed the grind for gear as well. Not sure I would anymore. But the main difference would be the community in ME. Met a lot of players through Destiny, but it was nothing like ME. Probably why I enjoyed the grind - laughs and/or friendly competition. :)

I haven't played the new Uncharted myself although I've played a little bit of the older ps3 versions with a friend. But the multiplayer has always looked pretty fun from what I've seen. I don't think it's as precise as an fps but it does look solid gameplay wise. Also the videos that I've seen were played by a guy who is pretty much another version of Samuel L Jackson and one of the funniest trash talkers I've seen in Pvp.

I've played a few MPs (mobas), these were all mostly up against other players. Unreal Tournament '99 back when it was first launched in 1999, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Tribes 2, Star Trek Voyager Elite Force, Battlefield 2. ME3 MP is unique in its own way; biotics. I'd place it just above average because of that. The demand on the player to react quickly against another player, plan out a strategy / tactics with team mates is zero for the former and considerably less in the latter than the other games. It's a pretty relaxing MP. :D

Lol watched most of that, was funny even though the other team didn't do so well. Or maybe because of that. :D

Hey krjn, just curious about whether there's anything for the less competitive players? I don't have a PS+ account so can't play MP, at least for the time being. I've no interest in PvP at all, even in a team setting, but seem to remember there being at least one co-op mode in UC3 (though I didn't actually play it). I've done two SP runs, and am torn now between trophy hunting and starting a game on Crushing, but am also feeling an ME3 MP itch which may need scratched soon, despite my barely-better-than-dial-up connection.

We would be happy to have you. And even revive you if your connection proves that bad. Even a less-than-stellar-for-Grunt performance is still more than welcome. Hell, maybe you will get lag revives where you didn't really die ;)

Arktinen also says that if anything goes bad, you can just blame the lag ;)

Also,    Microsoft needs to really, really stop having their weekly sales.   I always pick up between 2-4 games every week and I play them for maybe....2-3 hours total then come I back home to here...between that and the 2 free games each month...and I usually pick up 1-3 games from amazon each month.my backlog is ridiculous.. I just checked my games list on the 2tb hard drive where I have installed / downloaded everything...ridiculous....ridiculous...over 200 games......its just..nothing seems to grab my attention for very long, any more. I am a single player campaign player..usually..until I played this game. I have tried a few other MP's....they just aren't this game......so basically what I'm sayin is you can never really get tired of playing your favorite game.

Nope, no co-op yet. Apparently there was co-op adventures or some such in UC3, my partner keeps talking about it and hoping they bring that back. So not yet, but hopefully soon?

But, do jump in anyway. It's fun. :)

Edit: Meaning it's not really that competitive or nerve-wracking. Sure, you're shooting at other players, but it's pretty relaxed and the team matters usually more than individual performance. Support is a pretty neat specialization, for example. And most players seem very casual, maybe because the game is really easy to get into.

For some really odd reason, this reminds me of Killing Floor. I always played Support on that because welding doors and shooting shotguns at zombies never gets old.

Anyone who enjoys the wave defense format and shooting guns at zombies should check it out. It's on sale on Steam quite often, and runs just fine on Potato Internet (Hell, it was made in the mid-90s iirc, and then overhauled for Steam). So much fun.

I like Beginnger difficulty, because then I can weld my "team-mates" up in a room and go be rambo, and throw cash at them between waves, I also liked to throw cash at the boss at the end. Because, why not?

It combines the best ideas from DAI, fallout, doom, me3, destiny, CoD, BF and wait for this ... Shipping automatically with modmaker

You can be a magician goat, a warrior goat, a hunter goat, or a freaking microwave on legs,
U can cheat the RNG store, by simply using a dropdown list, or also cheat your girlfriend / other cheat players or even .... Yourself (this last one is very unique) or
Purchase a $100 PG DLC that applies a sheep skin. I dunno why , but it sells like sweet cake to all aussies right over the world.

+It can do all the stuff we saw on the andramada trailers: tree leaves moves in the wind, seasons change, stuff stay damaged when you turn your back on them,
some dog tag (bearily readable) states : "deathtard", included also for no obvious reason.
have endless space to explore,
Throw smoke bombs that actually produce smoke, and then, also, smoke bombs that leaves your hair stained until it finally grows out.

You probably asked why I play this? Well, I also played with General XIV which automatically puts anyone that continue to play with it/her/them/he, without confirmation, in the category of noobsauce

And That's nat that.

It`s not better then UT99 assault, but then again nothing is. On the other hand its noob friendlier; with a great kit and an awesome weapon you will go far, regardless of skill one possesses.

PS.

ello to any UT99 assaulters here both past (majority) and present (lol) from Prometheus / T.ard. :)

PPS i can`t type T.ard wot kind of a forum is this lol
