Who did play KotOR 1 and 2 as dark as possible ?

I did i was a really bad girl back then   ;)

edit. and to be honest i liked the dark side far more then the light side oops.

I never get into being "evil/dark."  I find no fun in being mean and nasty so find that playstyle un-fun for me.  I get no pleasure from being a bully, in real life or in games.

*Not saying that players who do are bad or evil :)

I don't see myself as evil or bad and i cannot speak for the others but i think they will agree with me that we are not evil or bad.

I played the dark side and while it's certainly nothing I would ever do, I didn't like object to it's presentation in a piece of media. I think Postal or Project Overkill or some other forgotten game in the past was probably even more chaotic, to be honest.

I mostly was just like "Whoa, that was uh, messed up" :P

Actually I would have to go back to the game to remember better what it was like... it's been awhile...

On the other hand having that dark side makes the light side more meaningful in some ways.

I'm kind of curious though if anyone else did play the light side...

I never "played through" Darkside, but in order to see what the Darkside Robes were like, I told Mission and Big G to duke it out on the final island.  I did get to see what the robes were like, but had to take a long hot shower afterwards, before reloading a previous save :D

The KOTOR 2 Dark Jedi robes are literally the sexiest thing I've ever seen in a videogame (apart from Liara's sex scenes in ME1 and 3 that is).

I have done it, but it's not nearly as fun in my experience.

In Kotor 1 i mostly played light side, because dark side was, for the most part, petty, and also because it fits well with my Revan.

My Exile, instead, is basically a "Grey Sith". Not really evil, but extremely pragmatic and actually quite self-sacrificing, so very Darth Revan-like

Oh ok so there we go, ^_^ I think I actually might of done a few gray things I can't remember for sure, there might of been some room, but I think because didn't you get powers on the light side for going in that direction? I thought it was a good idea to just go with it.

Not bad or evil no, but I admit I've wondered about what's going on in their brains sometimes!

Like how can you make Zaalbar kill Mission and not feel even a little icky?!

Even though it's just a game, the idea that someone thinks the most f*ed things are the most fun is... something I just don't understand.

okay good. One of the reasons with Video Game Cruelty Potential exist die tp an ethical way to have the options to be an evil person without going to jail or a psy ward if the player did them in the real world.

That's cool and I understand this.  I'd much rather have a video game be the "playground" than an actual playground :)

I brought this up in the main forum for some other thing... . arguably playing dark side can be quite ethical at times, I did it in KOTOR a long time ago and there's something to be said for Revan's kind of...ignorance of authority etc, there's lots to criticize as far as blithe acceptance to the light side.

Very true and I don't agree 100% with the lightside teachings.  Emotions are not bad.  How we deal with them is what decides that.  And the "peace at all costs" is so detrimental to their cause, they can never win, just as the Sith's "strong will rule by any means" foils all of their own plots.

I am more of a Jolee Bindo follower, which isn't about terrorizing weaker folk, taking what one wants, or murderous rampages, like many darksiders practice.  Love is not evil.  Passion is not evil.  Hate...   that's a tough call, but positives can come from that, I think.

My Revan and Exile both followed the Dark Side. I do not like the Jedi Order (I hate hypocrisy). In SWTOR only my Sith Warrior was more light than dark (but he was still loyal to the Empire). Most were neutral. I enjoyed dark side Jedi Knight.

But did you play the game as dark as possible to ? Or was there still some light side in you ?
