I haven't played Tresspasser yet because the wait for the next DA game is going to be years and I like knowing there is still new Dragon Age I haven't played in the meanwhile. (I do the same with all the game series I play, I still haven't played the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect or the DLC for The Last of Us). I usually wait until the new game is soon on the horizon and play what I saved.

 

So I haven't seen Tresspasser yet but i'm kind of disappointed they seemingly dropped the Weisshaupt storyline because they seemed to be setting up something really interesting in that direction.

 

That does seem 100% like something Hawke would do though honestly

I hope it's Dragon Age 4 announcement but i kinda get the feeling it could be Dragon Age Tactics or something. But i would welcome tactical Dragon Age game yet again.

I don't think we'll be leaving the Dragon Age anytime soon. For one thing, its only 9:43 Dragon so far. There's 47 more years left. Secondly, I don't think the dragon age will end till the last DA game for branding purposes, if not only for story ones.

Fair enough I suppose. So a possible spin off perhaps? They still have nearly 50 years worth of stories left to tell. Not to mention that they might do a prequel. Tell some of the stories that happened before the Fifth Blight.

Ok as some who would love a Da strategy game what would kind would you like it to be Rts(star craft), grand strategy(Paradox's games), 4x/turn based (Civilization series) while I am personally more into the grand strategy's at the moment I it is the hardest and least likely to be

Also what do you think it would cover a single story with historical battles of all of thedas or more focus on a lot of the history or just be alternate Da history

It all make sense now, the Mad Hermit is responsible for a fire in the Brecilian Forest where WItherfang arises out of the ruin like a phoenix

 

The game focuses on the protagonist stopping the Hermit before he burns down all of Ferelden. The final boss scene isn't a combat scene, it's a very complex set of riddles (let's say you need to answer 100 questions correctly otherwise Ferelden is in the control of the Hermit)

 

Now some of you may be thinking "but I killed the Hermit which puts this whole theory into doubt".

Then I say "WHAT? YOU KILLED THE HERMIT WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!"

It could be DA4. Gaider suggested that Solas' story is already written out, and it wouldn't be difficult to write more story to follow that. As for the game itself, if they get it out quick, they can stick with the Frostbite 4 engine and just work off what has already been created. It would be a waste not to.

If as studio like Bioware or CDPR would give us the Young kingdoms in crpg form I would be a very happy man indeed . Alas Bioware want's to do original IPs and CDPR already got their "white wolf" finished. "sigh"

What if the tactics game (if it happens) explores the history of the Solas rebellion?

A spinoff game like that could be the perfect way to expand on the history of events like that and actually play out that period of DA history.
