There's also going to be a special dress-up UI function that will allow us to have full control over our wardrobe. There will be both combat, formal, and casual wear, including various coverage options, optional boob plate designs for those lady warriors who like to walk on the wild side, lingerie (for both genders) for those romantic scenes, or simply the choice to walk around completely nude -- no Ken and Barbie, full physics included! -- if one prefers.

Don't toy with my emotions.

I was raised in Florida, so... probably. =/

Hey so was I. We turned out alright. :P (Ok, so technically I was parochial school, not public, but STILL)

I know for a fact that,
* The next game will let us tame and ride griffons into battle,
* And dragons!
* We will get to play as the Inquisitor,
* And the Warden too!
* David Gaider will come back just to write Dorian
* And Cassandra, Alistair, Shale, Zevran, Morrigan, and Fenris, because they'll ALL be there!
* Solas and his Inquisitor will get a love scene, with option for angry or sweet sexy times (finally, right?),
* And uh... there will be a simultaneous release of a DA tactics game that contains clues we need to solve a SUPER HARD puzzle in DA4.

And I'm hearing we might just be able to become both the Archon and Black Divine, but maybe I misunderstood the hint I saw and it's just one or the other.

(I actually wouldn't mind one or two of these... I'll leave it up to everyone to guess which.)

Stop messing with my hopes with your "fact"ing. :P

Aw, thanks everyone.

Incidentally, I tried a Google image search using the image from the tweet and got no results other than those related to the tweet, various speculation, etc. However, that doesn't necessarily mean anything; I haven't noticed that that method is very intelligent. If there is some sort of logo out there that is visually similar, then it probably wouldn't pick it up.

To help myself out, I used a higher contrast, desaturated version of the whole image, and also the wolf head part.

Spoiler

The whole "it's an M" part seems to be bogus anyway - wolf/fox or cat ears naturally create an "M" shape, so to say that it's significant that a shape that naturally follows the outline of wolf ears really get us nowhere.

Plus, here's an interesting analysis posted in other threads:

I posted this on the Twitter thread by accident, meant it for you guys hahaha. Copy/pasted for simplicity:

This is my more detailed speculation: LINK

TIN FOIL HAT ACTIVATED.

Too lazy to click? Voila:
I think it's probably something DA related, too. The wolf we see in the thingy thing reminded me of the other wolf from the other thingy thing. The ears line up to a T... even though the rest is off. Still, the skewed ears being the exact same spacing and height is actually worth mentioning.

Another thing is on the tower, there are 4 parapets as opposed to 3 (which one often sees in a rook), and could be a hint to DA 4 as well.

Blah blah castling blah blah... birthday... blah blah

That's all I got :D

Can Dragon Age 4 has the lifelike character like Uncharted 4? The biggest gripe for me in Inquisition is that the hair suxs.

I know there's talk about it maybe being a Dragon Age tactics oriented game, and I know some people are in love with the idea (maybe a lot of people?), but I really hope it isn't... I'm terrible at tactical games and I would prefer a stronger focus on story/characters (they felt a bit neglected in DAI, although this is likely due to the sheer amount of time wandering around the map...).  If it's a tactical game, I might never be able to beat it to know what happens!

As for the graphic:  the developers called it a fox head, not a wolf.  The shape of it does, indeed, look more "fox" to me.  Foxes have an interesting place in the context of Dragon Age lore, almost overlooked.  Funny how they finally added foxes into DAI, almost as if they wanted us to think about foxes.  Could just have been to have another cute animal, besides nugs, though.  Hmmmm.

In Origins, the codex entry on bears mentions foxes.  Specifically, there's a story about Dirthamen giving secrets to the creatures.  The foxes sold theirs to Andruil to get wings.  In DA:I we get a codex entry during the Temple of Mythal that could be tied back to the story of Dirthamen and the foxes.  It seems someone has been caught taking a "divine winged form," reserved for the gods and their special chosen few, and they've been punished severely for it.

If we buy into the Origins codex on bears, there's more than one fox, therefore more than one sinner.  And the Sinner codex suggests that Ghilan'ain is involved in all of this somehow.  So maybe the Sinner led an organization?

If I'm right (and I rarely am) it could really be a fox, not Fen'harel's wolf.  Maybe the fox represents a Forgotten One, or an organization led by one.  It could even be that this fox was up to something similar to what Fen'harel was doing at the time, the difference being that the Fox was stopped and the Wolf was not.

In that case, if this is a DA4 promo, things are likely to get very interesting very fast, because it means there are some ancient elven powers stirring other than just the Dread Wolf.  Of course, there were hints of that already with Tirashan...

Edited to add:  In addition, the fox head may not be in a fire.  Could that be a footprint (of a large clawed creature, MAYBE a dragon) or the rough outline of a dragon's head?

Well no, one or two devs said that it's a a fox's head simply to make a "firefox" joke. I wouldn't say that it's a 'confirmation' that it's a fox head, merely them being punny and trollish :P

So for me it could be either, though in such simplified graphic style foxes heads are usually made even more triangular and with pointy nose instead of flat like we have over here, plus it's the wolf's heads that usually have large 'sideburns'.

It was similar with the WItcher wolf after all. You could say it's 'wolfish' mostly thanks to the 'sideburns':

Mark Darrah said in his twitter feed that it was a flaming wolf's head while he was joking about making a black ops team out of the forestry department. https://twitter.com/...396271480459265

Actually, my insider contact (also known as my imaginary, made up wishful thinking brain) tells em we will be going to Tevinter and, will learn that the Evanuris were in fact the Magisters that entered the Fade and began the blights. There is another old god that has not been named as such because she often appears in human form and, was also one of the Eveanuris but, when she was "killed" this last time, it left her only able to return in her dragon form and, she gets corrupted, setting off a blight in Tevinter.

We will choose to play one of her loyal (bound) minions or a Grey Warden, or a neutral citizen of the Empire. Either way we have great tactics, hard fights and, NO BLOODY PUZZLES.

*not to be taken seriously*

...can we also include better hair options? *looks around.. sighs.. drinks*
Otherwise all scene with Inquisitor flying on griffon along with Alistair, Cassandra and Warden in their specially tailored for the occasion glorious attires, made with Dorian's strict surveillance and snide remarks, to meet Solas and finally have her optional angry reconciliation time will be incomplete without floating lustrous mane.. For PC, not griffon.

Dragon Age is big into faction symbols, which is what the wolf/tower symbol looks like to me.  It seems like a rising new faction is quite possible after the way things were left.  (No spoilers and all...)

Somebody asked Mark Darrah on Twitter today if the next Dragon Age game would be like chess and he replied no, it wasn't going to be like chess.

Unless I missed something, that's the first verbal quasi-confirmation of an upcoming Dragon Age game. There is something that isn't going to be like chess.

Ever since Twitter started rustling I can't stop thinking about DA again, lol.

I'm pretty sure all the speculation about a tactics game is that it would be a spinoff rather than DA4 proper.

Yeah, Mark made it very clear that a potential DA Tactics game would be a spin-off and not replace the main series.

Heh, they've been teasing for months now (as they've done with the run-up to revealing DAI/MEA). The only thing that keeps them from announcing it outright is the evil that is the marketing dept.  ;)
