I did Miranda and Jack's loyalty quests pretty early and then immediately they had a fight. I didn't have enough paragon points to make peace, so I sided with Jack. Now I'm almost to the end of the game and I still don't have enough paragon points to use the blue option with Miranda in her office, which I assume makes her loyal again.

How high of a paragon score do I need? It's almost completely full of blue, about halfway through the last section on the paragon meter. Does it need to be completely full before I can persuade her? She's so cold.

I don't believe you can, to be honest. >.>

It's possible maybe, try stopping and doing sidequests, get full Paragon and try again.

Almost all of the Paragon points were needed when I did that same thing. But if I recall, I had about the same amount of points as you. Maybe you're just missing a couple points. xD

"I ran into this problem as well. Since this is the spoiler forum, I'll spoil this. When I ran into that encounter, I couldn't calm them down either with a persuasion check. I told Jack to chill out, and she went down to her hole to pout. I went down later after getting a few more levels and capping my class skill that grants Paragon/Renegade bonuses, and was able to calm her down by convincing her that I was just giving Miranda lip-service so she'd shut up."

I sided with Jack though. Maybe Miranda needs a higher score than Jack does. I already got the bonus from the class skill and it's still not full.



I guess I'm being punished for not playing a 100% black and white character.

Yeah, you basically tell Miranda that you were just shutting Jack up.

Based on other reports, maybe it doesn't matter how many points you have, but it's based on time or number of failed attempts. Hmm ...

I'm the one who luet1991 quoted, I wrote that earlier in a similar topic. My paragon was maxed and renegade was maybe 50%.
