So Gek and I tested out my theory this morning...  I thought the reason that the dragon dropping Hakkon so rarely could be because of the dragon call.   How many of you make dragon calls and NOT use paragon?  Maybe a dragon call made by paragon will not get Hakkon!   So I started making a bunch of dragon calls using random materials.. yes even all 3 type of cottons.   Well it didn't work this morning... .but I still have 19 of them left.

 

Well my other theory is that... hey maybe if they see you have 10, 15, 20, 50 dragon calls in your inventory, they know you are in for the long haul.. no need to give it up so easily.   Maybe I should make 1 call at a time... maybe the there should be 1 call in the inventory among all 4 players...

 

Gek suggested we run around the dragon 3 times before we start.. maybe we will try that next time!   I know it does nothing on Perilous dragon though.. because I was doing that when I was testing to see if the dragon will fly away without doing any damage to him.  I ran around him many many times.. like 100+ during that match.

I was thinking of your theory testing this afternoon when I was playing against a lightning NM dragon.  I suddenly thought, maybe frost dragons drop hakkon at a greatly reduced rate, and I should be farming lighting dragons!

 

I was somewhat relieved when it didn't drop a hakkon..

But were you playing your keeper?  They only drop hakkon if you solo NM lightning dragon with your keeper. Try again please and report back. Thanx.

Absolutely.. be right back.. in two hours, after my marathon of a match.  I'll just keep restarting until I get Venatori.. I think I read that helps too.
