Give me a build or get the **** out. Kidding, still want that build though...

GASP! Mine is probably pretty standard. 6/6/4/6/4  I seem to like giving her weapon damage bonus in her rank 6 passives and slap a lancer on her. My favorite weapon on her in my opinion although I recently started taking the wraith just to be different. Only 4 in pull since it probably is the least important power but I did have a fully ranked pull setup in the past. The rank 6 detonation was actually really awesome and killed most mooks in one biotic blast on gold.

Your argument is valid  :P

GRAAAAGH NEEDS MORE FIRE

Urge to burn.......................rising.....

if score was an indicator for effectiveness,

the Wraith + Warp Ammo clearly do the job best for me.    (aggressive bubble, of course).

Reave specced for Armor and Barrier damage (preferably used against collectors and reapers).

Without pull so that you have that extra fitness you need to deploy the bubble over the spawns. There the awesome Asari dodge

comes in handy. I am delighted everytime at the sight of a perfectly deployed bubble that has caught as many enemies as possible.

And this is when the fun begins...

Also, I like that the bubble can be used in objective waves to block pathways and chokepoints.

btw, I'll admit that I try to exploit the weight glitch since I want to use reave as soon as possible after deploying the sphere,

and stack it as often as possible on bosses.

Second : I'd recommand Damage Reduction on Reave's rank 6. You'll most likely have a heavy damage dealing weapon (Hurricane, Venom, Wraith, Piranha...) to couple with Reave and Warp ammo, imho a greater DOT on Reave is useless. Whereas extra 15% damage reduction (40% total, i.e. ~28% when not in cover) is always cool to have, especially on the Justicar if you wish to place the bubble somewhere risky. Well, it's still a detail, and my opinion anyway.

Reave DoT is quite huge, so a 1.75 multiplier is really cooler than ~10% effective DR imo. But that discussion is endless here :D

Guess it depends what you're doing with her.  I do CQC biosplosions with Hurrdurricane hipfire in between, so extra DR is nice to have, but I suppose if you're doing a midrange/longrange weapon the extra armor damage may be more beneficial

Fact #1: Eagle weighs less than either of them.

Fact #2: Eagle has higher DPS than the Tempest.

Fact #3: Eagle is far more accurate than either of them, resulting in far more headshots.

Fact #4: Wraith weighs almost 4 Eagles, there is no point in comparing them, that is like comparing the Spitfire to the Locust.

Fact #5: A passiveless explosion expert, especially tech based, usually cannot use a Wraith and still self-detonate due to weight.

But don't forget Reeve 6b also extends dmg against everything and not just armour/barrier (meaing don't forget Geth and Cerberus factions exist too) + extends reeve duration (meaning stacks last longer) to go along with that 10% dmg reduction. That and Adrenalin Mod 3 are best on Justicar, followed by Cyclonics & Power Amps. And 10% dmg reduction works better if going AM3s and it stacks Cyclonics.

Not saying one is better then the other, just that the gap isn't as wide.

And you also have to consider how you're going to play her; playing it safe and reaving everything, or are you going to make a move and get up close and personal?

On the acolyte justicar, warp ammo isn't that big a deal breaker. Armor damage is primarily due to powers and the gun already has a big barrier multiplier. It'll be more efficient with warp ammo but not as much as other guns.

Cryo ammo is nice to slow big armored enemies inside the bubble. More importantly, pulling frozen enemies and watch them float in the air doing pirouettes in the air is amusing.

If I were to use disciple or wraith, I'd go with warp ammo. On a separate note, Falcon with phasic ammo is another set-up I use on the justicar.

Yeah I hear you, it's why I like Cryo IV on kits with Lash, the BatDept especially. If you freeze a mook solid and use lash (provided the mook survive the damage) it's body becomes stretched out and warped, it's really amusing to see that annoying Centurion stretched out like he's made of clay.

Yup, exactly. I like getting up close and personal and have a heavy shotgun in my hands, so more damage on Reave is useless for my build.

by the way, I am curious if you all deploy the bubble while looking at the ground, in order to be 100% sure it gets casted.
before I did it like that the Justicar was pretty frustrating for me

Great, this has never happened to me, but now that I have read about it, I've shifted into your parallel universe where it will now ALWAYS happen to me.

Thanks a lot.

No, i ve always preferred being close and personal, but always also preffered more damage and those juicy defense multiplier.
That said, i just rediscovered yesterday that the justicar has absolutly no power buff to reave damage up to rank 6 nor in passives. So that defense multiplier a not even such a deal :D

But i guess i could try the claymore on plat with the DR to see how it goes

I thought Rank 5 Passive was power damage, but all the rest was Power Duration.

yep, missed that, i guess i had 5b picked. Anyway it s only a shitty 15 damage point that ll be mutiplied by 1.75*1.5 for armor and *1.75*2 for barrier with reave 6a. I guess i ll respec to try the DR soon.
I m still surprised reave itself doesnt have any power buff till rank 6

Used to love this character. In my group, we called her the Asari Soldier, we'd always load up with Harriers and use the biotics as a secondary weapon. Lot of fun.

It certainly moves her up from the "Trash" tier she was occupying. Being a vampire is an instant plus. She's still pretty low on the rating though.

Unless you have more Biotic players in the team, there is no reason for the Justicar to be your 'go to' character...

Negative.  Justicar is her own Biotic team.

You're both true. The Justicar doesn't need anyone to wreak havoc. But she's still one of the best biotic assets you can have in a biotic team.
