Unless you have more Biotic players in the team, there is no reason for the Justicar to be your 'go to' character...

 

Maybe, but there are two reasons to have Samara on the team as much as possible.

There's really only two things you absolutely must have on a Justicar:

 

Warp Ammo IV

Power Amplifier IV

 

You're going to be priming everything in sight with Reave / Sphere, so not using Warp Ammo is just wasting that potential.

 

And Reave buffed up with Power Amplifier is SICK amounts of stacking damage.

 

(Now, OK, if you're going to solo: Cyclonics instead of Power Amp, sure.)

Weapons can be whatever. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Talon pistol yet (or if so, I missed it) -- its bonus vs. shields is helpful and it packs a punch. You can also do the classic CSMG / Acolyte combo for Platinum when you don't feel like worrying about Ammo or Phantoms.

P.S. Don't waste any ranks in Pull. Any time you are using Pull is time you could've been shooting or Reaving instead. Yeah, I know, controversy! Blah blah blah. F*ck Pull.

Ah yeah, I totally forgot about the Talon.  The Justicar/Talon was actually the first combo I ever brought to Gold, partially because the Talon is awesome and partially because my Talon was Level V when my other URs were either Level 1 or not unlocked yet.  I heartily endorse the Justicar/Talon combo.  I find that I like longer-range weapons on the Justicar now, but the Talon really works.  BTW, if you are going to use Pull, the Talon makes a pretty slick pseudo-Acolyte.  If you can get a good shot, you can drop a lot of enemies' shields in one shot, opening them up to a Pull/Reave explosion.

I find for Justicar CSMG X and Lancer X work best. Don't ever want that reload animation getting in the way.

Pink Pistol in any build is so 2014. And what's the point of maxing out Pull if you're not going to choose recharge rate? So you can wait longer to kill things?

I just respected my Justicar for the Pull challenge (66644). And I regret not choosing evo 5a, because I think it would contribute to finishing Pull challenge faster, but I'm not sure. Anybody know? As debuff on 5b should add to points too, but 5a is actual Pull doing some more dmg too...

No.  No, no, no.  Simply for the fun factor!  Especially if there is a Lash or Concussive shot user in the group!

 

But yeah, if I actually played platinum, I'd probably skip pull.

Your Reave only lasts 5 seconds.  If you're stacking it on bosses, you'll be spending half your time recasting it, and never having more than 2 stacks going for your effort.

Don't forget the Pull challenge too for Biotic Mastery. As Pull looks more interesting then some of the biotic powers listed (like Barrier. Who ever uses Barrier).

Oh, ok, so this is how you do it. Got it. (although, it is a wrong click there obviously, no point in taking all power recharge equipment to cripple it by 6a Pull)

 

 

 

 

@SMR, this is for killing smaller guys, but does not lack on bosses, they are going down really fast anyways.

 

 

I am not discovering anything new here, it is just that I thought that's universal build everybody uses.

Are you annoyed? Did they troll you again? Do they dodge all your projectiles? Do you care about the crab shield? The Hand of Denial? The Phantom just vanishing?

 

Do not despair! Pick the Justicar! Reave them. Stagger them. Then pump hot blue bullets into them. They cannot escape your judgement. It doesn't even matter what gun you pick, just put the searing hot bullets in and deliver your remote sentence. Or for some lasting justice, go close and blow them up under the bubble of Examination.

 

Then shoot them again. But they've probably already went to the happy place.

 

I wish they had added some unique Justicar VO.
