So will be there a new Dragon Age? Bioware even thinking about it?
Is there anything else coming?

Of course there will be. The latest installment was a huge financial success, the story is far from over, and they even hinted the sequel in Trespasser. There is also a possibility of a strategy game called Dragon Age Tactics.
Plus, Mark Darrah (dev) tweeted this: https://twitter.com/...3437312/video/1
Am I the only one who thinks that is wolf head above the tower on the cover of the book?

I bet a million bucks that there will be a Dragon Age 4. They just cannot stop after DA I that would be cruel if they would do that i think i can speak for everyone here on this forum that we all want to see what will happen to Solas and the rest.

I agree, it looks like a wolf.
I'm truly hope they will continue this game, this is the best game of the genre I've played...and this story...damn, guys, hope you will continue working on it.

Wolf - is that the four legged or two legged wolf?
Flames - or is that veilfire, indicative of the fade.
Tower - rook, chess piece that moves a great distance but only in a straight line.
Now we all know who Solas is so assume veilfire as a nod to the fade, meaning a lot of fade involved and, Solas does play verbal chess in DAI. The rook can also be represented by a very crow or raven looking bird, another deceptive or death harbinger. So is Solas the harbinger of the death of Thedas as we know it? Will we decide if the veil remains or is undone? Will we need the help of powerful Tevinter mages?

The wolf could be a reference to Dread Wolf/Fen'Harel/Solas as the main focus of the next DA. After all, Solas at the end of Trespasser did promise that he was going to destroy the world eventually.

Best launch in BW history, cliffhanger in Trespasser, rumors (unconfirmed) of a "five-game plan" - writers seem to wish to say there will be another sequel, and the suits are unlikely to turn it down with this much profit.

I'm barely even thinking about the next DA, it has to be years off. The new Me and I would imagine the new IP will come out before DA4.

That is for sure a hint at DA4. That is most definitely a wolf on top of that tower

There is new Dragon Age content coming out for the pen and paper roleplaying game produced by Green Ronin. A brand new GM screen, with artwork from the 'World of Thedas' book that Bioware produced, and a scenario set in the Deep Roads.
There's truly no need to wait years for the next computer game to get your fill of adventuring in Thedas!

Not to be too "business like" but I think if they had decided to have no more DA we probably would have seen some layoffs, even taking into consideration their new IP and ME-A. I suspect it will be quiet different this time about however and probably a bigger and better MP.

It really depends, for they could exploit all the nostalgia requests and make a new Jade Empire game for the original Jade Empire team became the Dragon Age team and from the way it sounds a lot of the people that worked on Jade Empire are still at BioWare.

I don't thimnk we'll be hearing any moer about any nwe DA's until at least MEA is released. Once Andromeda has been released then we may start to hear and see new things to do with it. They tend to alternate between the 2 series aqnd seeing as DA has just had it's first release on the new engine with DAI it's ME's turn now. We will see anothre DA I think but not until the new Mass Effect has had some time in the limelight.

Depending on if and when they start talking about the new IP as well. I could see BioWare doing a yearly rotation between the three IPs once they are established.

I think that's the intention. EA clearly, and surprisingly given the word RPG, wants to emulate COD model which gets away with making a game every year by having the games worked on by different studios/ companies. EA wants to do the same thing with BioWare. Granted this might backfire since BioWare is known for not making deadlines. Even ME 3 was pushed back.

While I do agree that there are problems with a model like that, but normally most games are released within three years of development because of risk of becoming obsolete before release due to hardware changes or even people losing interest in the IP.

I hope they take as long as they need to make a great game for us. I'd rather wait another year or two than get another bug filled EA mess that was pushed out too soon. Hasn't happened too badly to DA yet, but other EA games have been released with horrible bugs. I don't want that to happen to DA4.

While I agree with the sentiment about not wanting a buggy game, I'm not sure what EA has to do with anything. Bioware were perfectly capable of releasing bug ridden messes long before they got bought out by their current corporate overlords....

My favourite BioWare bug is still the cat in Baldur's Gate that reported you to the guard for stealing.
Invisible King Alistair is a close second, though.

Those are fun bugs. I was more referring to things such as ToB simply not working with a large number of CDROM drives until BW released a patch - in the days where internet, while still reasonably common, was nowhere nearly as widespread as today so actually getting hold of patches wasn't always that easy (I personally needed to get a friend to download it then burn it to a blank CD and give it to me at school before I could even run the game).
It just annoys me when people go on about how EA are to blame for BW games being buggy. It's like they never actually played a BW game before EA took over....
