For me, I would say:

 

Lego – most bad-ass character in the game.  Highest XP generator if played right.  Rock (Promotion Lord) told me when I was starting out that there was nothing else that could compare to the Lego for generating XP and I’ve certainly found that to be true.

The Avvar seems to be the one very often in Tier 1 or 2. ^^

 

He has a  cool appearance (well, not in drakescale armor), he´s durable , fast and his abilities are kinda of a close range spell casting and very colourful

Obs2: Avvar became one of my favorites when I got 100+ constitution and became less squishy.

 

I thought I was the only one feeling the Avvar is squishy.  Funny I would use the exact same word "squishy".   I have over 125 con with + 16 con mod on armor.. but he still felt squishy.  So I put 2 10% HoK rings + 8% mod on the Hakkon 2-hander.... 28% HoK and he still feel squishy.  So I don't play him much LOL.

 

Plus his lady wrath aura made everything on the screen fuzzy with pink color.  It's like I am Alice in Wonderland or something.

T1:

So I posted this yesterday... and last night after I left Gekrakel's game (watching Dank yoloing his level 1 Katari in NM with dancer axe), I stared to spend off the gold in the store... getting the usual junks.   At the end I have less than 1000 gold left.. so I though what the hack.. started buying the small chest.   What do you know.... Dancer Axe!

 

I found it strange that the Dancer Axe basic attack whirlwind damage does more damage than the real whirlwind ability with upgrade.   While testing it, I ended with doing my first Katari Perilous solo.  I think I could probably do it with the Hakkon, but the DA is so effortless.  The only problem is that at the end of the match I got 4 gold medal instead of 5... because of the lack of ability kills LOL.  What? 20 kills is not enough to get gold???

Indeed.  Although I've had the Slayer title for about two months now so something along the way must have been killed.

I know what you mean, but since I removed all that useless HoK (running now with one +10% HoK Ring) and put in damage stuff it got much better.

Chilled defense...just hakkon's charge and use the smash attack as much as possible. If you really are still having issues just grab Rage of the Avvar as well. Can be full build at 13.

But if you want to grab damage skills asap (lady's wrath, crushing leap, charge upgrade, korth's might upgrade) then you will have to wait a long time before getting chilled defence, and it's still buggy...

That's usually what I do .. go first LW, CL....upgrade charge... after that.. I usually try to go down that long road toward Rage of Avvar.. but it is just so far....

I usually don't upgrade korth's might since I know once I got to Rage of Avvar I will have to drop might.

 

If I do what Proto suggested, I will be going down the other tree... and have to wait for a while to get LW, CL.....

 

That's why I like Reaver and Katari more.  I just need to do 1 threatening run and get to level 7... both of them are set to solo Perilous.   With the Avvar, I can't solo Perilous safely even when he is at level 15...

I ignored the Avvar forever because it is squishy. Especially if you have lower promotes. I am at 75 con and the Avvar goes down way easier on perilous than other warrior kits for sure. That being said. Man, he is fun to play. I honestly just finished my second promote on him [ so full on noob ] but after watching some vids and "learning" [ following directions exactly ] I really enjoyed the game play. They skills flow really smoothly together. I'm digging it and think I be promoting him a bunch more as I get more promotes.

 

Back to OP - Most fun for me to play...

 

Tier 1:

[ as of last night ] Avvar

Lego [ on lower levels ] with WB, shield SMASH and bitter axe for extra pulp - so fun.   

Archer - spike trap - the best.

 

Tier 2:

AW: pac belt - killing is fun

SBOT: running dmg with burst etc -  I usually run support 

 

Tier 3:

SS - maybe tier 2, but feels a little like the same thing over and over to me. Still pretty fun especially with the speed burst and of course the kill speed.

ASS - obviously not the best char - but sneaking and backstabbing is kind of awesome. Plus that single target damage feels so good.

Hunter: see archer. Almost as fun.

Katari - my fav comments in the game. 

Reaver - only here for kill speed. I mean she is a machine. Not very fun for me personally but once again, killing is fun.

Vit -  power chord, knights music - pretty good - 2nd best comments in the game

 

Tier 4:

Duelist - I am ignoring this char for now. I want to hit 250 games with SS and then I will tackle. Seams pretty awesome actually.

Alchemist - mines are pretty fun. I just haven’t played Luka that much. I am about to follow Protos guide for the poison kills. That should be a blast…..

Necro - I'm just not that good with her. Walking bomb is pretty sweet.

 

 

Tier 5:

RION - 3rd best comments. I'm just not that experienced here. I am sure I'm missing out on something.

Templar - currently using on low levels for mace challenge - not fun - in general feels like a lack luster lego 

Keeper - one promote - never got into it - I just don’t see it.

I'm not sure about the buggy part, but you can have lady's wrath and crushing leap and get to chilled defense by lvl 12.  None of the abilities are upgraded, however, but I think that's livable.

 

I'll have to try this on my next Avvar promote.  I have the same "SUPER SQUISHY" experience playing the Avvar.  If I have 10 levels in any other warrior character, perilous is easy.

You need to upgrade Korth's might at level 2. Never get rid of Korth's might. It's what applies chilled, shock ect...Most important ability. If you run Rage of the Avvar, don't invest into CL.

You should always upgrade Korth's might and rush Lady's Wrath and it's upgrade. Then go straight for chilled defense and Rage of the Avvar. Level 14 and full build.

That's an Avvar Perilous run with 0 promotions. Think I was level 15. I was using a Skywatcher's Cleaver for the 25ish% HOK. Superb Amulet of Con, Korth's Might and Hakkon Charge ability rings, and a +50 HP belt. Think +54 hp armor upgrade, but no weapon upgrades.

With a PI amulet, superb belt of health, 2X superb HOK ring and Hakkon great sword with weapon upgrades you should be able to stomp perilous with no issues. Especially with 100's of promos.

I never really had any issues in Nightmare with 100/100/100 once I was level 10ish.

I think a lot of people forget to use the Ice Korth's Might, or kill their chilled enemies too quickly. Never experienced a "bug" with the effect.
