I understand people's feeling of exploration of Thedas in these games... but I feel it grossly undermines the actual world in favor for the player. People of Thedas should have explored and understood these concepts ages ago.

Why? People have demonstrated the ability to be wrong about important stuff for millenia in this world. Thedas shouldn't be any better.

But, I admitted that the Broken Circle abominations were just another idea shuffled to the side for... whatever... and moved on. I don't commit to Dragon Age concepts now... I just go with what's shown and deal with it and then move on knowing that in the next game they're just going to chance everything all over again.

Shuffled to the side? Where'd you get the idea that the ideology Uldred espoused was ever supposed to be anything other than the ravings of a diseased mind? I'm only asking because I can't recall another poster here who ever took that stuff seriously, though I haven't pulled up the old threads to review the issue.

They've also demonstrated the ability to be right, also for millennia.

@BioMarkDarrah @Mike_Laidlaw for the same reason all the goats in DAI are called "rams" which are male sheep?

You would think with the mage-templar war we would see an increase in abominations and demonic possession. Breach or not its not like demons were just able to appear anywhere only were there was a rift so they could have still gotten to the mages. And with the rebel mages dealing with fear from templars, becoming slaves to the venatori, and issues with Fereldan at that point you would think we would see a blood mage or abomination or two. Kirkwall had them left and right and that was before the war you mean to tell me all the mages involved just decided to not take extreme measures during the war but before the war its open season.

Disagree.

Experts can't be wrong about basic stuff for centuries in their field of expertise otherwise they came across as  incompetents)
It is impossible for the dwarves to have never seen red lyrium in their entire history but this happen because Bioware need big reveals that only the player know ecc...
