Is it possible to start MP?

 

It's about 22:30 EST or 19:30 PST, nothing but rooms with 15-20 players with those background thing (promotion stuff? whatever that is?)

 

I suspect there is an endgame speed boost everyone but me has and i can't keep up with groups to get anykills and then my connection drops. I don't mean to leech or anything, i just can't kill fast enough with melees walking to the target. I have one archer i hate, one archivist and no damn cloth to even get another mage class.

 

 

I used to love Dragon Age a lot, playing campaign over campaign, but trying multiplayer and failing to make it work is really killing this game for me.

I just started about a month ago and I more than know what you are talking about.

 

That being said, I learned to watch and appreciate what the veterans do as they play. Meanwhile, I was boosting my XP stats and levels and gear. Within a few promotions I starting contributing to the group and low-and-behold, now new players are following me.  One step at a time.

 

Only about ~350 matches in and I am regularly playing on Perilous (with my templar) even at low levels. In fact today, I started my Templar (level one) on Perilous and she battled her way through and didn't die once. Later on in the day (at level 19) she defeated the head demon on stage 5/5 all by herself. (With everyone else keeping the other demons at by.) It was VERY satisfying. So yes you can still play and have hun. I love it.

There are promotions which make your character stronger and more powerfull. The more people played and promoted, the stronger they are, so that´s what you are seeing. Good thing is, you can now take level 1´s into perilous and be carried by another level 1´s

 

Also, don´t be discouraged, this game can be frustrating at the start, when you are weak and have no good weapons. But over year of playing and there are strong players around so the pressure is much lesser then at the beginning. There is a good chance to be grouped with competent players, you won´t be burden even if you die all over the place.

Nothing wrong with leeching to start with. Just jump into a public nightmare match and hope someone will carry you and let you get some end game gears and speed up your promotions. Awesome gears would drastically boost your progression speed.

You are welcome to friend me.. I'm on PC as Gekrakel.  I am running some fairly weak support characters and still go into threatening for low levels with some of them.

Nothing wrong with leeching to start with. Just jump into a public nightmare match and hope someone will carry you and let you get some end game gears and speed up your promotions. Awesome gears would drastically boost your progression speed.

 

Much wrong with it, well some do not mind, but for me its just impolite. Carrying a friend is ok. everyone else I do not know who just joins a NM to leech gets kicked.

I do not mind in perilous to carry unknown ppl. We all had to start somewhere and I did it in routine

 

Besides how can it be fun ? If I play a game I want to play it now to go fade and do the laundry.

I have run into several people who are just starting MP, at least on the PS4, and it's not uncommon for me to lower the difficulty in order to help them level up a bit.  No skin off my teeth, I play it for fun and to socialize a bit.  

You really want to have fun, set your difficulty to random, got dropped into a few NM games accidentally that way.

Is there any reason dragon's might (fureur du dragon?) does not finish off normal melee enemies? Having to kill them off one by one is getting annoying and possibly killed.

Are you talking about dragon rage from the reaver?   Certain normal melee enemies process Jedi lightsaber blocking skill (they usually hold 1 sword).   It blocks some abilities.  You could kill it with basic attack.. or for reaver use devour.

Good thing. Sometimes when I play a peri, just to promote a lvl 19 agent who is close to 20 and ppl join and I can see they are ok here but not for NM I keep it on peri and just play some level 1 agents.

I can't join any games. It keeps saying connection interrupted on every try. I got someone saying something i didn't get in a headset then interrupted everytime.

 

Is this normal or are people kicking me because i'm low in routine?

If you were being kicked, it would tell you so.

 

Unfortunately, it is a common issue, even among vets.  Maybe give it another try tomorrow?

Turns out it was a problem with my origin voice chat settings. The headset was selected for input but was not present at that time. Something about my bluetooth software.

 

I officially hate my luck. After unlocking:

-Mystical Warrior

-Raver

-Assassin

-Alchemist

-Raver respec

I have these mats left:

-Metal:52

-Leather: 37

-Cloth: 20

 

I get a whole lot of metal all the time and about never any cloth. And that is after wasting some metal on weapon addons. I'd like to upgrade the warrior's armor but i just never get any cloth. I save for the 2k chests all the time.

Just get 1 million warrior exp and use the reward armour for now.

Free end game armour.

a great way to get cloth is to craft staff upgrades, then salvage for cloth.

I don't see 150 each as being that fast. I think I might have had that many promotions when Dragonslayer DLC came out - that is about 6 months playing the game for many hours a day. Granted I had been playing just Perilous then, but I don't think new players who jump to NM/HB are able to have a significantly better exp/minute output... I could be wrong, that is just my estimate.
