So, I just came back to playing ME and I really like the multi for ME3... And well I am a teamplayer... I don't care if i get assists I always freeze enemies put a little damage on them deactivate objectives and always escorts drones and stand in the hacking circle... But i'm always LAST PLACE... I don't really care as long as I get credits but does that mean i suck? 

 

I play on gold for da creds

 

Keep in mind I dont have much weapons... The only upgraded weapon i have is the M8... All my other weapons are rank 1 THANK YOU FOR ALL REPLIES!!! THANKS ALL OF YOU

Not at all. In fact, it is a great way of ensuring that nobody ever conciously becomes your enemy for whatever reason. I aspire that my friends one day call me the John Lennon of pacifists. Loosing is a great way of showing that your belong to the masses. Masses don't like individuals that are different. Being average is being happy, because you don't need to explain edges. No, it just means you are probably less aggressive or you kill things slower then others. As long as you try and help the team, you are good

the scoreboard doesn't mean much. If your team usually makes it to w11 and gets a mission successful, it means you're probably doing fine.

There was Multigun a few days ago, now PureGun... both asking "ingenuous" questions... my alt-account detector is activated... but maybe my avatar is influencing me and I see conspiracies everywhere. 

 

If you're not an alt OP, ignore what I just said. If you help with objectives, revive when you can and use consumables when needed, you're already all good in my book. The damage you do will progressively increase with experience and eventually with a better manifest, if you don't have all weapons at 10 already.

You're probably at a disadvantage because a lot of the experienced gold players have high level ultra-rares and equipment. When I switched to PC and had a fresh manifest, I played gold right off the bat and stuck to casters since they're not as reliant on the best weapons.

The guys and I just laugh at it, it's nothing to feel bad about as long as you're having fun which I'm definitely having.

If you just came back to playing ME3 (after a presumably long absence) and are playing gold with a bare manifest, then it's no surprise you're bottom scoring. Just keep at it and you'll get better at killing quickly.

 

If you can get good at doing combo explosions, power users like engineers and adepts will probably be able to dish out the most damage, at least until you get some better weapons.

Being last doesn't mean much tbh, and most people should be able to tell if they're contributing or leeching by themselves. Unless you are like those few delusional individuals, you should be able to tell if the team is constantly carrying you or if you're doing okay. If you're doing okay then forget about score, you'll get better scores eventually , especially when you get better weapons. If you're dragging the team down you should consider going back to a lower difficulty.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Although I do remember a HellHoleCondor/Reaper/Gold match with friends where I finished 10k short of everyone else's score added together, then gave a speech about how "Individual score doesn't matter because it's a team game, except it does matter and I'm better than all of you"

Yep, my motto right there. But coming first isn't bad either when everybody is having fun. Alternating would be best I believe, so nobody gets to take statistics while they're at it. That'd kill the whole point of it for me pretty much.

If you play on PS3, I'd be happy to play with you over a lot of the scum in PUGLand. Help you with those credits, with gun/class setups. These trolls here don't like my builds, but they ARE newbie friendly, and effective.

Kidding. The scoreboard is just another screen in between me and the next game. I don't pay much attention to it at all. Neither should you.

It's just a game, it doesn't really matter what you do. You could even launch a team game, put your controller down (or leave your PC) and go in the kitchen to prepare a meal and that would be fine. Yes, you're making the match a lot more difficult for your teammates by being in the game and not pulling your weight but does that really matter? The answer is no. It's just a game, as long as you're having fun then nothing else matters, least of all your score. So go out there and leech those pugs if you have to, because it doesn't really matter at all.
