I have spent a tone of time on both Dragon Age 1 and 2 playing full game and the DLCs yet can not find my Game 1 character and my game 2 caractewr up loaded with some of his game details wrong what the hell????? This is rather annoying.
What do I have to do to get this sorted out as I want to play game 3 with my world state as I set it by my actions
You're a bit unclear in your post. If your character's aren't being uploaded from DAO and DA2, be sure that you are logged in to your EA/Origin account in the game itself. Load up your save, run around a minute. You may find that taking off a piece of gear will help the Keep refresh.
If you already have your DAO and DA2 characters uploaded but are seeing the wrong choices for them... For both DAO and DA2, the Keep ONLY records the basic facts about your character and nothing more: name, gender, race, origin, class, and an upload of your character's in-game portrait (basically a screencap, the same used in the game itself). The Keep does NOT import any decisions from those two games; you must select all of those by hand.

Whose brilliant idea was this? I finished DA:O 5 years ago. I don't remember all the exact choices I made; I don't even really remember some of the crap that's in the tapestry to even be aware of what choices I MIGHT have made. Is there any way to look through the save files to know what was and wasn't done?
It was a technical limitation when the Keep was made. DAI is fully integrated and will update the Keep as you play since that game was built with the Keep in mind.
The things you don't remember will likely all be on the DAwiki. For example, one of the Denerim decisions involves Ser Landry and whether he is alive/dead. You can read about Ser Landry here. He's quite insignificant and is only included for flavor.
That said, almost all of the choices are not important and are only included to properly reflect the world as your character influenced it. The idea was to be able to say, "This is my Thedas," whereas someone else's Thedas might be different. The vast majority have no reference in DAI, so if you want you could just ignore them and leave them at the default state.
