yep it'd be great, more options and more ways to play the same kit
They kind of did that with the mod that lightens weapon, can't remember name sorry. I'm more concerned that they make the weapons more balanced in the way that they all can be effective in platinum with some build. Yes, some can probably solo platinum with a shuriken weapons build, but I'm sick off seeing PUGs sticking to acolyte, harrier, reegar, and hurricane. Would be nice to have +/- to all weapons.

Agreed, more variety would be refreshing. I just hope the MP in andromeda is similar to ME3:Mp. If they change it up, I only hope it's faster with more chaos and enemies spawning at once.
Seriously, I'd just like to see more viable weapons for gold and platinum. Yeah I can take a shuriken in and hold my own, but it gets annoying how much work I put in to kill a praetorian and someone ninjas my kill with an OP weapon.

I didn't like ME's customizing that much, was bit annoying with carry weight and such things..
sometimes excessive customizing the weapon is boring thats true and the weight sometimes is very annoying with some kits
