So yeah, i was one of them preordered the Game never bought any DLC because i want to wait until all are released. Now GOTY Edition is there and the priceage feels like a scam, the DLCs would cost me more then the GOTY Edition. The GOTY Edition cost me 40€, all the five DLCs 55€ even only the three main DLCs come to 45€ whats still more then the GOTY Edition so you need to be really stupid to buy any of the DLCs what cost more then the Game and all its avaible Content.

Now the Question, what happens if i simple buy the GOTY Edition above my Digital Deluxe Edition ? Will this work like on Steam, on Steam when you buy two things like in this case it would practically erase the main Game but add all the Content you dont own to your list. Or will i end up with two Copies of the Game in my Library seperated maybe even seperated from saved Progress etc.

I want the DLCs at best all of them, at least the three main DLCs but i cant come over this price differences and pay more for less. If it would be at least the same price as the GOTY Edition for all the DLCs that would be ok, no benefit but that would be ok.

Obviously you should buy the GotY if that's cheaper for you. Saves would be a nonissue -- the saves are stored in a "Dragon Age Inquisition" directory, not a GotY-specific directory.

I don't know how Origin would handle owning both editions, but you could just hide the original edition if it shows you own both.

It is cheaper and i think that counts for everyone bought the Standard or Deluxe Edition without any of the DLCs. Im not sure if there isnt something specially tied to the actual Game i have, like Online Functions, certain Account, i dont know something. I will look around a bit but i dont want to mess it up somehow, i cant remember if i needed to do or use a seperate Account in the Game another one as the Origin EA Account for Online Functions what is then maybe bound to actual Game so i cant use it on the other one. Or Dragon Age Keep im not sure or can remember if that thing is tied up to the Game in some way, im maybe a bit too acurate but i dont want to mess around with the Support in the end.

It shouldn't matter and even having multiple copies of the same game won't be a problem for they are different entries.  I can't speak for Dragon Age: Inquisition specifically, but I have other games that have multiple versions and they work fine.

Depending on how the GOTY version works you might even be able to download the DLC for the standard version of the game.  Right now in Origin I have two identical copies of Dead Space 2 and Mass Effect 1 for some reason.  I also have the standard version of Dragon Age: Origins, the Deluxe Version of Dragon Age: Origins, and the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins while also having Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 2: Collectors Edition and the Collectors Edition digital bonuses are available for the standard edition of Mass Effect 2.

When you purchase the GOTY edition, it will show up as a separate item in your Origin library, but you won't need to re-install the main game, just the new DLCs.  That's how it worked for me.  I was able to load my saves with no problem.  Hope this helps.

You should stop worrying about the account. EA's whole approach is to tie all of a customer's games to one account.
