This type of horror show is one of the reasons I tend to avoid MP games most of the time...

 

It's the kind of thing that healthy humans are hardwired to back away from very slowly, and then run for yer dam life.

 

Poor kid, I wonder if he got the help he most certainly needs.

It's just a parody, as if that was difficult to tell when he picked up a hand microphone to scream at the other players. It's not even the only video featuring that kid raging at CoD.

Doesn't mean that people a bit like this don't exist, even in Co-Op games

but it's very rare, and more hilarious than anything IMO.

Doesn't Killzone have a first-person cover system that stays first-person?

It does, at least in singleplayer. BF4 sort of does too, but it is context sensitive  "leaning" when using ADS near a corner or peeking over low cover, not hardcover activated on any object.

I received my first MP related hate mail this week. It was depressing, because they were right, I was playing a character for the first time and I hadn't played very well in that game.

I received my first MP related hate mail this week. It was depressing, because they were right, I was playing a character for the first time and I hadn't played very well in that game.

 

But it's just such poor sportsmanship.

It takes a very special sort of person to rage at someone over a video game, especially a Co-Op one. You should pity their so obviously sad and meaningless existence, more than anything.

If you want to learn new characters without any risk of such nonsense, you should add some of us from the MP section.  Most of us are rather helpful both with gameplay/build stategies and to help with providing a capable team, so you can actually try things and enjoy them without spending the whole game attempting not to get mobbed.

I know man. I wanna be able to put up 90k and outscore Silver pugs one day, too.

I love 3rd person but I can't stand 1st person for very long in the Bethesda games like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout 4 I generally put it in 3rd person and leave it there the only times I ever use it when I'm collection loot from or looking for items or places of interest in certain places.

I spend my time mainly in 3rd person in most games where I can choose, because I like to see the reward of my many hours in the character creation menu. In combat I usually go for first person, though, unless I'm against Ghouls or Draugr or any undead things. Because they tend to be in large numbers, and I want to be able to see where they all are. BUT I don't think that such a thing should be in Mass Effect.
