So how come most of the time in cuntscenes(In important ones at least), I'm stuck with Predator or Avenger? I spent good amount of credits on my equipment, and I want to see it when the interesting parts roll around goddammit! Seriously It really bugs me when my character has perfectly good paladin on his waist and he's pointing a goddamn predator(that he hasn't even have with him) at someone like a total schmuck.

Is there a way to fix this?

The word was that they pre-rendered some of the scenes.  Hence you get "default" weapons regardless of the loadout.

The only way to fix is to play with Predator and Avenger :) That's what I do on my canon Shepard ;)

This would be more bearable if all scenes were reloaded with same weapon. Going from one instance were I have my shotgun in my hand to the next moment I have an assault rifle then back to shotgun

It's actually a limitation of the Unreal Engine. When you use the in-game graphics system to render the cutscenes, as you have to do with the amount of customization you can do to Shepard, you are limited in what you can display.

In ME 3, they finally found a fix for the 'default weapon in cutscenes' issue, but it was only a partial fix and it was applied inconsistently. In some cases, Shepard and squad are visually equipped with the chosen weapon, but the sound and firing pattern is that of the default Avenger rifle or Predator pistol.
