Yep. Used exploits like getting free gold and experience. I've used cheats on PC that max level and kill all enemies instantly. Of course, I didn't do this for my first run. I never do.
I don't believe I have ever cheated in Mass Effect though.

I gave myself a bunch of minerals in ME2 to skip the planet scanning. And in DAO and DA2 I gave myself some extra XP to start off with - which doesn't actually make the game significantly easier with level scaling, but makes the early game more fun.
Plus the odd mildly OP item mod.
Maybe a stupid question but what is a odd mildly OP item mod ?

And what kind of cheats do you use then ?

Hrm...
In Mass Effect 1, after my first couple of Sheps, I would level up all the subsequent ones to lvl 60 right before Ilos because I didn't want to have to replay them all twice just to get max level before importing into ME2. Did this by adding experience via the console.
I added a storage chest to the camp location in Origins for additional storage capability. Also, I use the skip the fade mod in Origins.

Never on my first run.
When I do, it is typically with the use of mods and are pretty basic. Example, in DAI, I use a mod to increase the amount of potions I can carry - that wasn't a problem in DAO or DA2, why should it be now?
It has been a really long time since I played ME1, but I vaguely remember using the command console to give myself super armor or something, and I believe it was yellow. I might be getting it mixed up.
Bethesda games though...
- I made myself a 50 foot women in Fallout 3 to traverse the world quicker, but kept getting stuck on the bridges. Fun times.

First run is always vanilla for me, then I mod a little afterwards. I rarely cheat as it ruins my experience, but these are the ones I do use.
Skip the Fade in DA:O, and some armour from the RL Witcher's Emporium. I chose that specifically for aesthetics but technically it is a higher level than the armour in the beginning of the game. It quickly evens out though.
For DA2 I use Story Mode that makes easy mode super easy, great when I'm running through Hightown at night getting set upon by gangs. Just kill them super quick then go back to normal mode.
For ME2 I use the mod that skips the mini-games cause they drive me nuts. And that's it.

Yes, absolutely.
DA2 is boring and I don't like the combat much, so I cheat.
DA:I combat is quite fun but my laptop can BARELY run it so I'd rather cheat than play fair with my shitty FPS and extreme lag.
Though now I've gotten accustomed to modding and cheating and going back to legit playing when I buy a new computer will be a challenge...

Well, I'm on console (PS4) so no mods. I take advantage of exploits - re-farming chests, grabbing the extra power amulets since that was re-introduced
But, since Trespasser and the introduction of the Golden Nug, it's not really necessary.

Oh, the memories!
What a glorious day in DQ history!
Pushes Harding into bar.
Check for tripwires, and no cavorting with HB until it's clear.
Waits for thumbs up from Harding. Strides up to bar dragging heavy sack. Heaves sack onto bar.
Cabot stick that under the counter, and set me up with a mead.
Guys (raises tankard in greeting) chugs.
Heh heh heh, that sack's full of amulets of power, I've been running round Thedas collecting them all, hehehe!

In DAO, I abused the trap quest in Lothering, but I never went to extreme lengths with it. I've used console commands in both DAO and DA2 to get certain pieces of gear so I would have a matching set, but hardly overpowered.
In DAI I did use the merchant exploit to get a ton of crafting mats until that was patched out. I also used Cheat Engine to give myself all of the crafting mats and weapon/armor schematics. My primary aim with this is just to look the way I want to look, not be OP, so I do try to mitigate some of those issues by using T1 materials to craft T2 and T3 pieces at the start of the game.
I never use mods that cheat or drastically alter the gameplay mechanics and I've never used god mode or anything along those lines.
However, I cheated the hell out of Neverwinter Nights. I made a module using the toolset with merchants loaded with custom, overpowered gear, gave myself +20 levels and a bunch of gold, and then I used a specific NPC to load the official campaign from that module so I could jump right in after creating my OP character. I still played the game as normal, but I plowed through everything. It was highly entertaining.
And as others have said, never on the first run.

Somehow i cannot quote your post but sorry to say this but when you are saying that you never used godmode and then you say that you used a +20 levels that just sounds a little like godmode to me.

I've monopolised exploits, though I've never outright hacked a BioWare game. In Origins I used the infinite money exploit where you sell and re-buy the dragon and drake scale armour, and in Inquisition I use health increase items to heal everyone, instead of using potions outside of battle.

Nope. I feel the game is straightforward enough without any extra help.
I am not only talking about Inquisition i am talking about all the Bioware games.
