After a few months of break I came back for another run of DAI, with a human rogue this time. I have just completed the main game (on nightmare) and this will be my canon, recorded in the keep. I find myself amazed to be this affected after six previous runs (2 complete - 4 partial). I am left feeling... despondent, just as I was after the first run. I'm now halfway through JoH and still have the Descent and Trespasser to go through but I needed to express my love for the franchise. For all its flaws (and if we're truly honest we must admit there are more than a few), and irrespective of the comparative merits of other titles (I'm looking at you W3), this game, because it induces so much emotions into the player, has everything required to be considered a great one!
