Cmdr Sheperd was so dreamy and everyone buckled under his/her charm. This may be realistic for the 1%, super beautiful people, but for the rest of us 99%, things don't come so easy.

I feel like bioware should incorporate more realistic reactions between NPCs for 3/10 guys like me.

I think that by this point Bunz transcended mere mortal trollhood into the realm of  an idea, something that cannot be erased with time or banned by moderators.

It seems that Commander Shaperd worked hard to stop the Reapers, he tried to create a new generation of super soldiers, all of them carrying the best genes and protected by plot armor. This idea might have been more effective than building the Crucible...

When you think about default Shep it makes sense to have everyone fawning over him. Who wouldn't want to bang an attractive badass with the power to save the galaxy?
