Because for each 120k I get 2 of either gels, rockets, clips or ops. VS every 99k I get only 1 of either gels, rockets, clops or ops. So it's much easier to keep up on those consumables sticking with just regular spectre packs VS PSPs. Sticking with just PSP usually results in having to also waste money on Jumbo Packs. That's my point.

BPP seems better then Hurricane on Marksman because ammo lasts much longer.

No, the higher damage from the Hurricane more then compensates for it.

I'm more surprised that none in their infinite wisdom have yet enlightened us on that the Shuriken is totally viable with the Volus Sentinel and that all "dps elitists" need to "git gud" and "l2p" etc etc.

Eagle is a solid gun. Nothing spectacular, but it's good. 

 

I don't get the comparison with hurricane though (it's better than most of the automatic weapons). But atleast eagle doesn't sound like wet farts.

It's just the usual suspects comparing everything to the Harrier, PPR, or Hurricane in order to "prove" that a gun they don't like is bad. I thought you'd been around here long enough to have caught onto the pattern.

I dislike the three guns you mentioned - not because it's hipsterish or whatever; I find them utterly boring to use and get frustrated while using them.

The Eagle took so much grief in it's early days.  It's a very nice weapon on the right class.  I've always liked that gun.

I just did the BPP challenge on TSol like 3 days ago and got the challenge done in one Gold pug match with lvl2. consumables (armour ammo, I think), and it felt like I mostly had enough ammo for an entire wave.

 

Will try the Hurricane today under same setup. Just hope the pugs don't give me the ol' stink eye for bringing the crutchcane TSol to Gold.

Actually from an etymological perspective, I suspect the term badass likely originates from an application of said wet farts.
