[TL:DR; If you don't want to read then skip to the part that begins 'But here's what bother's me']

I  synced the Dragon Age Keep site with the previous DA games and began playing Inquisition. I noticed a few minor discrepancies that I was able to ignore, right up until a conversation with Leliana referred to The Hero of Ferelden as 'She' and mentioned that she died, when my hero was a male, elvish, mage.

(I really wasn't expecting this, when Hawke met Alistair in the Vicount's Keep they said that they had to return to Denerim because the Hero would be there soon, referring to him as a 'him' and 'he')

So I went through the animation, changing any mistakes I found.  I don't remember ever playing a character who let Connor die, and if I did it on my main, the one I used as my legacy hero for DA2, then I definitely loaded a previous save and reversed my decision because Connor was still alive whenever I went back to Redcliffe.

But more disconcerting was the way the game said that my Hero didn't complete Lilith's ritual or conceive a child.

There were a few other discrepancies.  For example, My Hawke spared Anders, not because I felt he was justified but because I wanted to try to keep it somewhat in line with the DA Origins epilogue.

My Hawke was in a in a relationship with Merrill at the end of the main campaign, and Variric's epilogue said that she stayed with Hawke when the rest of his companions parted ways. But Varric just told my Herald that Merrill returned to protect the elves but had no idea where Hawke was.  I'm OK if this is just an oversite on the writer's part, the open ended nature must make the game quite complicated to keep track of.

But here's what bother's me.

If the version of the game I'm playing says that Warden was female and died fighting the Archdemon, then it wasn't *my* warden who completed the dark ritual and walked through Eluvian with Lilith in Witch Hunt.

I've went and corrected as many of the options as possible but there's no options for any of the DLC events, such as Awakenings or Witch Hunt. Do I have to begin DA Inquisition again, now that I've rectified it? DO I need to go back and replay some of my DA Origins saves to get it right?

Thanks in advance.

It'll be tricky since I can't see your tapestry, but I'll try to help you the best as I can.

Now, you don't have to replay Origins to get it right. Do you need to begin DAI again for your correct save to go through? Yes, unfortunately. But let's start with the tapestry...

A checklist (if you don't mind):

1. When you select your Warden, a whole bunch of fake wardens will pop up and will mix in with your real warden, which may cause some players to accidentally choose the wrong one--it may sometimes even choose the wrong one for you, itself (almost happened with me).  So, when you choose your Warden, is the "Default Hero" box checked at the top? If so, uncheck, and you should see your correct Warden.

When you find your Warden, approve it.

2. When making choices from Origins inside the tapestry, and under each choice is "Approve this Answer". However, what I do before approving the answer I want, is to click on the little lock symbol underneath. So that it'll keep the answer in place (sort of like a security blanket). Now, just to be safe, do that for every choice who choose for DAO and DA2. I know, it's tedious, but it might help keep the answers in place when transfering it into DAI.

Same when you click on the "need to export" button on the top right; click on the lock, as well (just in case).

3. As for the no options for DLC (Awakening and witchhunt). What do mean? Like, you can't choose it? Or you can't see/find it? You should be able to see it, but it's hard to figure it out without looking at yours (since I can choose mine, right in the next tab right now). Here's what my keep looks like:

Spoiler

Is this what you mean? Or something else?

4. If/when you're done choosing everything, go to the "need to export" button, and click the "play" button. It'll will show a video talking about your choices, and to make sure you have everything correct. If so, be sure to click the "export to DAI" button below it (it may take a few tries to get through).

After that, go to the Tapestry menu (top left corner). Then to Heroes.

There, it will show all of your active heroes that will sync through into the game. Like this:

Spoiler

If you don't see your active heroes, then it didn't go through; or you may just have to wait for it to fully process in the meantime (sometimes, the DA keep needs time to load everything).

You also need to be logged into the EA servers, before you sync everything through. Then, it should say something like "sync DA keep to game" (or something like that) in either the main menu of DAI, or the settings inside DAI.

And that, so far, is all I can offer off the top of my head, right now.

I hope this helps.

For both DAO and DA2, the Keep ONLY records the basic facts about your character and nothing more: name, gender, race, origin, class, and an upload of your character's in-game portrait (basically a screencap, the same used in the game itself). The Keep does NOT import any decisions from those two games; you must select all of those by hand.

DAI is the only game (so far) that is fully incorporated into the Keep and will record your choices as you play (or upload them later on).

And even then they're not always correct, so I would be careful with trusting the Keep.

You can always fix what it gets wrong.

I'm fixing it all now, thanks for the help.  Although part of me actually wanted to go back and replay both games to create a 'definitive' story, I'm relieved that I don't have to go through all that in order to do so.

thanks for the help.

I know. My comment was about what the Keep records from your game.
