Considering the requirements for completing MP matches, the GI is the most versatile character in the game. Easily usable against any faction on any map.

I find the GI is the best kit in the game for shield power cells.

It's funny that in the 4 year history of BSN, every character thread references the GI or a Turian at some point.

We totally need a Turian Geth Infiltrator.

We already have one -- at least according to my Turian adventures earlier, playing the " Turian GI".

Turians.

Personally, I'd put the GI above the volus, because the volus are like the worst classes in the game with my internet. Shield boost just doesn't work XD So yeah, all the volus kits apart from the Vanguard, then the Geth Juggernaut, the GI, then the Volus Vanguard, then the GE... then basically everything else, then the TGI, then the other Turians, then the Quarian males, then the human engineers, then the Quarian females, and the best is obviously the QFI.

The Turian Saboteur ranks in around... wait. It's probably my favourite Turian, coming to think of it. So top of the Turian part.

Isn't Argus just a worse Valkyrie?

No way. The Argus runs circles around the Valkyrie once you tame the recoil. I have both at X, and I hate the Valkyrie, but I am quite content to use the Argus. Though both are made redundant by my Saber X, that fits a pretty similar role, but does it better than either could ever manage.

Got SyncKOd out of nowhere at wave 3, but you get the general idea.

Cannibals making out around 1:10 were kinda... bizarre?

God damn that spread is wider than Paris Hilton. On a Turian.

The Valkyrie is pretty good, one of the most underestimated guns in the game.

The Argus is horrible, the spread of the bullets and the kick are just ridiculous for the low damage it does, it's the Shuriken of ARs.

Meh, not even QMR is this elitist.

I've never said geth kits are garbage. That would imply that quarians make things that are garbage. In fact, being made by and to serve the quarians, they are obviously some of the best kits in the game exceeded as a collective only by the quarians themselves. All the Hunter Mode ones are top tier, and even the Puggernaut though not very effective at dealing damage is at least useful in eating bullets so my soup doesn't get torn or sullied with anything but Reaper/space Nazi/ rebellious toaster guts, and the Creators can do their selfless job of saving the ungrateful pleb races of the galaxy like we always do.

The only problem with them is the garbage pugs that are frequently attracted to using them, particularly the melee Puggernaut and the Flamer spammers. GE's and GI's generally do their jobs well in serving their glorious Creators without much annoyance, more often than not. They are a testament to the brilliance and ingenuity of their Rightful Masters.

Oh, garbage geth fangirls are pretty dumb too. Toasters are fun and all, but thinking that the apprentice is better than the Master (Race)? Get out of here, before I blow up your Dyson Sphere, and make you run crying to Harbinger out of simulated fear.

GE is my favourite. Probably the 2nd best Saber platform, after glorious Quarksman of course, and it has a Turret much like the quarian it was designed to emulate.

Man, too bad Techno isn't here to save a thread about turians from devolving into a discussion of toasters.

And still, his favourite quarian female keeps him out of her shotgun range zone.

I recently ran into Saboturian on shore leave in a bar with a QFI.

poor guy just wants to activate sing along mode with her, yet she barely notices that he's even copied her powers out of flattery.

The damage itself isn't horrible, the problem is that without multi compensating parts (kit, mods, gear) only 1 mostly 2 bullets hit the target at medium range, forget about long. If you want to hit the head you have to aim at the legs

It's pretty bad, especially considering the insanely slow rate of fire.

Have fun taking down a possessed Preatorian on platinum with that gun :P

You're wrong about the spread of the Argus.

Sure, the targetting recticle blooms to all hells, but all three shots have already been fired, thing is accurate once you tame the recoil.

In practice, it's as about accurate as a Harrier. It's one of the easiest weapons in the game to headshot with, especially for an AR.

I wont deny the burst delay is not great, but all that really does is ensure the bloom settles down before you fire again (Something the Saber doesn't do, if you keep firing the Saber, it gets less and less accurate). In fact, the Argus is very similar to a low level Saber once you put a recoil dampener on it, and the Saber is one of my favourite guns, so that is saying something.

Yes, they do get stunned and receive the backfire damage if specced.

It works on every organic enemy regardless of whether they have a gun. Yet another instance of excellent in-game wording by bioware.

Yeah, not exactly well worded.  I assume that the "backfire" happens in the cybernetics of the enemies, rather than their guns.  Which also makes the whole idea of getting completely electrocuted and paralyzed make more sense as well - how exactly do you electrocute someone by making their gun backfire?.  After all, all of the reaper's troops (including collectors) are basically cybernetic zombies, and Cerberus troops aren't that far behind.  The Geth/Atlas/Turrets of course don't have organic muscles, so the paralyzing doesn't work on them.  That's my theory at least.
