Unfortunately, I don't think anything interesting will be done with Morrigan now that Patrick Weekes is at the helm.

Having said that, she was set up to inherit something from Flemeth/Mythal, and she passed her character test so there's really nothing that would prevent that from coming to pass, except maybe for Flemeth/Mythal's death, if that's what we saw at the end of DAI. What that could be, no idea, though i think TheWardenBrothers1701's post above mentions a few relevant aspects.

Morrigan wasn't set-up to inherit anything as Gaider said somewhere in the forum

Mythal could literally be inherited by whoever she chose even an elven beggar in some unknown alienage.

Who are the other two daughters?
Yavana may be not dead since she was a bunch of pink smoke(like Majin buu) who entered inside the dragon but frankly i'm start to become annoyed that some charaters have the luxury of this magical rebirth or plot armors while others have to die normally.

On WoT2 there's a section that speaks of Witches of the Wilds, in which it is mention that there ar rumours of Witches on Ferelden (Flemeth), Antiva (Yavana), Nevarra and even maybe in Orlais... however there is no further information of those two, as only the ones that we know got a codex entry.

I know revival may be annoying (overall on characters that are given a lollipop by writers and whose means of revival/ resistance seem lazy written) , but it's more understandable on a world with magic, but on a case like this, I wouldn't be annoyed as she got killed in three rather short comics, which is wasting a potential character (same goes for Evangeline and Renn, their involvement is still bigger than hers, though).

I think people should keep that in mind, no matter how much they have hinted that Morrigan is a special snowflake, things change (and Morrigan's behaviour already leads her to remain mundane) and not only stated things, even already established things can change, look at Star Wars, General Grievous used to be a ruthless Jedi killer, Starkiller used to be canon and Darth Maul used to be dead.

After the epilogue of DAI(main game) for what i remember there was someone who was hearing the whispers of Mythal and was in contact with her and it wasn't Morrigan.

I had the distinct impression that she didn't aided Celene more likely was hired by her because the empress had problems with Gaspard and Briala who were also toying with Eluvians. It was more an employement rather than "destiny".

Celene is also the one who sent her to the Inquisitor so it was not even directly her choice.

Dunno how many daughters Flemeth has but why Morrigan is the favourite?

Flemeth seem to have taught a great deal of things to Yavana included the dragon language, she thought very little to Morrigan in comparision.

I suppose I just believe destiny may not come in the most expected ways, or is dependent on choices of any party. Rather despite your choices or anyone else's things fall into the place they were meant to be in due time. Though I also don't believe Celene's interest in Morrigan had anything to do with the Game or Gaspard and Briala. I always thought it was by pure curiosity and Morrigan took the opportunity, she did say she needed time and power and being arcane adviser to the empress certainly gives you power and resources. She also said she was there because it was the last place anyone would look for her (my theory is that someone she's hiding from is Flemeth, and for this same reason is why she left in such a hurry at the end of Origins).

And Morrigan being her favorite is an arguable point. By convince or favoritism Flemeth decided Morrigan was going to be her next vessel, something that Yavana thought an great honor perhaps was even jealous of depending on how you read it. But apparently Flemeth decided to change her mind and instead sent Morrigan to do the Dark Ritual, probably to get the old god soul and then take control of her body (at least I believe this is Morrigan's theory which is why she runs). And despite the resistance, and as you mentioned how little she seemed to teach Morrigan compared to three older and probably far more powerful sisters she still shows some care for Morrigan in Inquisition and even seems to want to give Mythal's godhood to her but this time it doesn't seem like that means possession of her body but rather Morrigan still being herself but with Mythal inside as well. To me I interrupt that want for Morrigan as a bit of favoritism on Flemeth's part but knowing Flemeth it could be for another reason entirely lol

I think a lot depends on whether they stick to the original storyline, which DG said was only half way through by the end of DAI.    Then think back to the first ever trailer for DAI, voiced over by Morrigan.   Clearly there she is taking an interest in events and challenging you about how you will deal with the situation.    Then at the end of DAI she recounts the epilogue.    This could be intended to be her final bow out or an indication she is still going to be involved in some way in the future.

Remember that original trailer had the breach looking very different from how it became in the main game: a huge gash across the sky with a dragon roaring in challenge having apparently emerged from it.    There were also fire bombs raining down from the sky, the world looking very dark, the Inquisitor (?) struggling through what looked like a sandstorm.   Morrigan questioned whether you would overcome the darkness or lead to the world to its bitter end.  That sounds a lot like the scenario that Solas was describing should he tear down the Veil.

If they continue through with the original story to its conclusion then I think Morrigan will pop up again and will be essentially playing the same sort of role as Flemeth did in previous games, giving advice, a bit of assistance and possibly giving the PC a nudge in the direction she wishes them to take, unless of course Flemeth's contingency plan was simply to be revived by the next PC.    I pretty sure that either Flemeth or Morrigan is going to be involved in either stopping Solas or alternatively in ensuring that his plan doesn't come out as he intends but as Flemeth intended it to when she surrendered herself to him.

She'll be back, unfortunately. I suppose I'd rather see her again, than see more of Leiliana.

I hope she gets rid of her plot armour...

At the end of the Masked empire Celine had tremendous troubles with Briala who gained all the eluvians that could have been used against her,for that reason she looked for someone able to understand the mirrors and she only found Morrigan.

I have personally never understood that claim, the Orlesian court imho is one of the easiest place to find someone  rumors of her precence there could be easly spread(in fact it happen in one of the DAO epilogue) I think is more likely that Flemeth had no interest to find her in both version of non-DR and DR (non-DR she doesn't care to meet her --DR she go only to the child)

Flemeth never said at any point that she wanted to give something to Morrigan,Flemeth never changed her mind it was only Morrigan who believed that she was an host.

We don't know the relationship between Flemeth and the other daughters but since these daughters have at least hundred of years i have to presume that she care more about them since she spent more time with them.

She'll be back, unfortunately. I suppose I'd rather see her again, than see more of Leiliana.

She will be back is based on?
At this point bring her back would lead to some problems related to the update of some non mandatory people and also her 5th apparences overall which would bring her even beyond leliana,I don't see the need to do that since it seem there are  other 3 Flemeth's daughters.

What is next for Morrigan....

Oh I'm sure Bioware will find a way. "Life...uhh...finds a way."

One time she was a socially inept Witch of the Wilds who was confused at the concept of a handshake and was home-schooled by a hedge witch, next thing you know, she's a goddamn master player of Orlesian political intrigue and courtly etiquette and a favorite Apostate of the Empress.

Next she is the favourite among Solas slaves.

Without the OGB Flemeth give something to Morrigan in the altar of Mythal with the OGB this does not happen.

I unlocked the altar of Mythal and it was very meh...
Why Morrigan look like she smelled some bomb ass weed when she summoned Mythal?

Ha ha, I thought I was the only one that found that face hilarious!

I thought she was intentionally mocking that elven verse.
